I went to his village to meet an acquaintance. When he entered the village, he saw that the standard of living of most of the people living there was extremely poor. The streets were very bad and rough. The four walls of the houses were also made of mud. Many children, who were in dire straits due to poverty, were playing in the streets. Despite the cold, no one had shoes on their feet and no one's clothes were in a very torn old condition. All the children and other people in the street left their jobs and started looking at me. I found it a bit strange but after a while I understood.
When I arrived at my friend's house, he was already waiting for me. He was a landowner and belonged to a family that ate and drank, so his house was the most isolated and well-built house there. Which was in the shape of a mansion. Well, he took care of me a lot. Then in the evening we sat down and started talking to each other. I asked him that the condition of the people here is very backward. These people are also entitled, I think you should continue to help them. He smiled and said yes you are right.
He got up for Fajr prayers and walked towards the mosque which was a few steps away from the house. Darkness was still enough, so one could only recognize a person by looking closely. When I came out of the street, I saw a man in a chador throwing something into a house. I was shocked and did not understand anything. I ignored. The next day, when he went out for Fajr prayers, the same man in the chador was throwing something in another house. Now I was very surprised and I thought that maybe there is a thief, but before approaching him he had turned to another street. This time I decided that I would definitely find out who this person is. On the third day I got up a little early and went out into the village streets but the man was not seen. I went a little further instead of the mosque and saw that the man was standing in another street a little distance away. I hid and looked at him. He first threw something in one house and then in another. Then he started coming towards me, I hid to one side to see who it was. As he approached, I grabbed him. He was trying to free me when suddenly his face came in front of me with the sheet and I saw that he was my friend.
Leaving him in a state of great astonishment, he asked, "What is the matter?"
If he did not tell me, I insisted that I would not come to the house of a thief like you this time. When he heard this, he started crying and said that he would go home and tell him. When he came home after prayers, he said that it would have been better if he had kept this secret. But if you are stubborn, I will speak.
He said that most of the people in our village are poor but very selfish. Do not reach out to anyone in spite of the need. As soon as I find someone in need, I drop some money at his house at dawn according to my ability. I asked if you could call him. What is the reason for adopting this strange method? He said that the hadith of the Holy Prophet (sws) is blessed that on the Day of Resurrection this person will have a cool shade of the Throne of Allah Almighty who fulfills the need of someone in such a way that the other hand does not know. And he said, "I have the deeds. I did not think that I would do this deed with sincerity. Maybe it will be acceptable in the sight of Allah and on the Day of Resurrection this deed will take me in the cool shadow of Allah, the Lord of Glory." But now I don't even hope that you have revealed my secret.
Whenever I remember this incident, my eyes fill with tears as to where and how the diamonds were created by Allah, who is the one who fears his Lord and thinks of the Hereafter. How do we know who is pleasing his Lord by doing what he likes?
