Mohammad Ashraful (born 7 July 1984) is a former batsman and captain of the Bangladesh cricket team. He holds the record for the youngest century in Test cricket. He achieved this feat on Sri Lankan soil against Sri Lanka. In addition to his batting prowess, he occasionally bowls right-arm leg-spin.Ash, Little Master or Bangladesh's 'Flower of Hope', he is Mohammad Ashraful. It is difficult to express how much Bangladeshi cricket fans love him. But Ashraful could not reflect the return of this immense love of the people in his career. Like the fairy tale, the one who started his career, did the last one with a big injustice to the name. His 12-year long international career is not so colorful. He averaged 23 in Tests and only 22 in ODIs.Ash has got a permanent seat in the minds of the fans as the hero of many memorable victories of Bangladesh. The immensely talented batsman has played against all the Test playing teams in his career spanning more than a decade. So the bag of experience is also quite heavy. But he could not use any experience or talent. Bad form seemed to be his constant companion. Most of his career he has suffered from run drought. But what's in it? Formlessness did not ignite the slightest hint of its popularity.
