One of my favourite cricketer is mashrafe mortaza.Mashrafe Bin Mortuza (born 5 October 1983) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who was the former Test, ODI and T20 captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team and is currently a Member of Parliament from Narail-2 constituency. One of the top 100 athletes in the world in the "World Fame 100" conducted by ESPN. He is the fifth bowler to take 100 wickets in ODIs as a captain.Mortuza is one of the most successful pace bowlers in Bangladesh. With his aggressive, fast bowling in the Under-19 team, he caught the eye of former West Indies fast bowler Andy Roberts, who was then the team's interim bowling coach. On Roberts' advice, Mashrafe was included in the Bangladesh A team.Mashrafe got a chance to represent Bangladesh in the national team after playing only one match for Bangladesh A team. He made his Test debut against Zimbabwe on 6 November 2001 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. [11] Khaled Mahmood also made his debut in the same match. The match remained unresolved due to rain.He suffered a knee injury during his personal third Test against England. This forced him to stay out of cricket for almost two years. He had success in the second Test against England. After taking 4 wickets for 60 runs, he got injured in the knee again. He was forced to stay out of the field for almost a year.Mashrafe had to leave the team due to 11 injuries in his 18-year career. Injury snatched the 2011 World Cup from him. In the third match of the 2017 Rocket Bangladesh-England ODI series, he collected 2 wickets and took a total of 217 wickets, making himself the highest wicket taker in Bangladesh ODIs.
