'I call my father when I run out of money. But it is not said, it will cost money. I have been silent for a long time without saying anything. But the father can understand. Extreme frustration and depression come and go. I bow my head in shame of helplessness. ' This is how 28-year-old Mahmudul Hasan was saying the words. He has been carrying the burden of unemployment on his head for three years. Tired of looking for a job.
I spoke to Mahmudul on 20 June. Ink under the eyes, the young man with light hair with disheveled hair continues to talk about his inability. Started with childhood. As a child, he dreamed of working in information technology. He started preparing for this when he was in seventh grade. He passed SSC from Rangpur Collectorate School and College with GPA-5 in Science. Admitted to Rangpur Cantonment Public School and College. However, he could not get admission in the engineering university as the result was not as expected. That's where the dream of becoming an information technologist stops.
But Mahmudul did not stop. With new motivation he was admitted in the Department of Public Administration at Rajshahi University. He graduated in 2011. Postgraduate in 2012. Since then he has been running after the job. He left Rajshahi and settled in Dhaka. However, the golden deer named Chakri has not been seen yet.
Mahmudul is the son of Lalbagh College Para in Rangpur city. Time was spent happily with a government-employed father, a housewife mother, and an only younger sister, Soma. But beyond the boundaries of study, there is an urge from the family to do something. And there is an inner urge. Khan Mahmudul was hit hard in the job market. I had to go to all the job shops and come back empty handed. It is not an experience that a young person who has just passed may have talent and skills. But experience is a must for almost all jobs. Mahmudul, however, in keeping with his studies, kept on applying to the human resources and administration departments of various institutions, most of which did not get any response. When it comes down to it, go after the lack of experience. Even then he did not give up. So to make himself more qualified in the job market, he recently did a postgraduate diploma in human resource management.
Participated in 33rd and 34th BCS. However, his luck did not help here. So he left out the desire to give BCS. Life is now miserable for Mahmudul. The same question everywhere from family events অনুষ্ঠান'You haven't got a job yet? ' Then I feel very helpless. Many times you do not find the reason to survive. The reason for this, Mahmudul said, is that it is very difficult for a boy to be unemployed after graduation. One day is very long, and sometimes the night does not want furotei. Mahmudul's night's sleep is taken away by the shame of taking money from his father every month.
