The first paper notes in the history of human civilization were found in China. That was about thirteen hundred years ago today. Then the paper notes spread all over the world holding the hand of Mark Polo. And that paper note is now an integral part of our lives. But looking back, the first question that pops into my mind is, were the ancient banknotes the same as they are now? Or differently? Size, color, design - how were those notes? The answer to the question will be - no. Banknotes have undergone many changes from ancient times to the present. The pattern of that change was different in different countries.

The first banknotes were introduced in the tenth century by the Song Dynasty. It was named 'Xiaoji'. Although it was made in the seventh century, it was heavily sealed to prevent counterfeiting. This banknote called 'Xiaoji' was used in Chengdu, the capital of the Sichuan Empire.

Now let's come to the biggest amount of notes. When you hear about large denomination notes, you must have already seen a picture of Bangladesh Bank's Rs. 1,000 notes. If so, delete that image from your mind forever. The largest denomination in the history of the world is the 100 trillion Zimbabwean dollar banknote. Due to inflation in 2009, the Zimbabwean Reserve Bank had to decide to issue the note. But before the sky falls on your head, know another thing. If you go to the market in Zimbabwe with 300 billion dollars, you will get only a piece of bread in return. Don't get more than that. However, this is not the only such incident in the history of the world. From 1989 until the announcement of the new monetary policy in 1994, there were about 500,000,000,000,000,000,000 notes in circulation in Yugoslavia. I know it's hard to calculate. The Hungarian Pengo note also used 20 zeros due to inflation. However, its currency was quite low, equivalent to only 18 Bangladeshi rupees!

People in each country use their own currency. Again, when visiting another country, the currency of that country is exchanged with one's own country. But what if an alien from outside the Earth started living here for us? Then which country's money will they use? The questions may sound strange, but the National Space Center in England has solved them. Wrapped in small nerf balls of plastic, they are called Quasi Universal Intergalactic Denomination (QUID) as the currency of space. Norf balls represent the sun and the eight planets of the solar system.

The question may arise, why such a strange coin was arranged for aliens or astronauts by omitting notes on paper? The reason is that they have blamed the sharp edge of the world's currency. It has been feared that these sharp edges could pose a danger to astronauts. In addition, the magnetic strips of credit or debit cards will be damaged due to cosmic rays. That is why special coins made of Teflon have been arranged for them without using the conventional common currency, each of which costs ১২ 12.5.

We all know Einstein was offered the presidency by the Israeli Prime Minister. The proposal was made in 1952 by Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion. But Einstein rejected it. Even then, in 1986, a picture of Einstein was added to the Israeli 5 liroot note to honor him.

In the evolution of time, there are many banknotes that are slightly different from the commonly used banknotes. These are not the only hobbies of the collectors. Rather, they represent an important background in the history of our human civilization. All the strange stories of our golden past are involved with them!
