This Insect Appears As A Good Sign For Us

Have you ever known that there are insects that can give a good sign if they enter the house or outside the house? The insects are called termites. Yes, this winged termite or in Indonesia some call it "Laron" itself has been trusted by some residents in Indonesia since the first until now.

"What good omen when these insects appear?"

You know, for the people of Indonesia, if these insects appear in groups and even enter the house, it means that tomorrow the weather will be sunny. Although not necessarily the weather will be sunny the next day, but usually the weather will be really sunny the next day.

Therefore, some Indonesians or maybe people from other countries believe that the appearance of this insect is a sign of good news for tomorrow. Not infrequently also in this increasingly modern era, many people also do not believe this.

"What do you do with these insects if they enter the house in large numbers?"

Honestly, I was very amused when these insects entered my house in quite a large number. But there are several ways that I usually do when this one soft insect appears and invites its colony into the house, namely by:

• turn off the room lights

This method is usually done by everyone if you are amused or uncomfortable with the arrival of these winged termites. By turning off the room lights, these insects will not get light that can warm their bodies and this is also an anticipation so that more larvae enter the house.

• put water in a container

If you have turned off the lights but these winged termites are still flying around, you can use this method to trap them so they can no longer fly. This way I often do if they appear more and more.

The trick is only to need a container such as a basin or whatever and after that add water. Put it where there are still a lot of these winged termites flying and just wait until these termites enter the water that you have prepared.

Since there are not too many termites in my house, I just turn off the light.

"Then what are the winged termites in this container doing?"

It's up to you what you want to do. If you have pets such as insectivorous birds, chickens, fish or any other animal, you can give them to them. But before giving it to your pet, you should give it when these winged termites are dead and throw their wings away.

Or you can process it as a snack. According to my late father, these winged termites can be eaten. Do I like it? Certainly not. I don't like it at all because I always think about these winged termites when flying and it makes me ticklish.
