The Importance Of Changing Vehicle Oil Regularly
Oil is one of the most important components for your vehicle's engine, whether it's a motorcycle or a car. Changing the engine oil of our beloved vehicle on a regular basis is the easiest way to maximize the health of our vehicle's engine and of course extend its service life.
As a person who works using vehicles, I definitely maintain the condition of my motorcycle engine by changing the oil regularly. However, since I'm a courier, I have to change the oil on time so that my engine won't have problems when it's working later.
"When should I change the vehicle oil?"
This question is often asked by some people who do not really understand about vehicle engine maintenance. And when to change your vehicle's oil depends on all of you. If you often travel with a distance of 20 to 50 km a day, then you can simply change the oil for a maximum of 1 and a half months.
If you can travel more than 50 km in a day, then change the oil for a maximum of 1 month. However, if you live in an area where the roads are often congested, it is better to change the oil not exceeding this maximum limit. To keep your engine healthy and strong.
However, this benchmark could be faster depending on the current condition and use of your motorcycle or car.
"Is it natural that the oil that is freshly filled is black?"
This is natural when the oil that we pour into this engine turns black. And this also does not indicate that the oil you are using is bad or unfit for use. That's because the oil that has just been replaced will experience a color change because it has been mixed with residue or the rest of the old oil in the engine room.
So, if you want to check the oil and you find the oil has turned black even though it has just been replaced, you don't need to panic or rush to replace it. However, if your oil has turned thick when you check it and the oil has a completely black or milky color, that's a sign that it's time for an oil change to avoid unwanted things in your vehicle's engine.
So, changing the oil was supposed to be done. If you can't replace it yourself, you can replace it at the repair shop. It looks trivial, but if you are reluctant to change the oil, over time the performance of your vehicle's engine will gradually decrease. How about you guys? Do you regularly change your favorite vehicle's oil?
