The Disaster That Occurred After Heavy Rain
It's been a week that my city has been raining and the rain was very heavy it just happened 2 days ago. And just today the weather looks very sunny until the afternoon. This morning, I got news from my brother that yesterday's heavy rain caused a landslide at the cemetery. I was really surprised by this news because as long as I was alive, this was the first time that the cemetery in the area of my old house had a landslide. And it's not just cemeteries that have collapsed, in some areas there have also been landslides.
And this morning I came to see how the condition of the landslide cemetery was. And it turned out to be pretty bad. I and all the people who were at the funeral were shocked by this incident. Because for decades this burial area is the first time a landslide has occurred. And the effect of this landslide caused some tombs to be severely damaged and the walls of the cemetery to be destroyed as a result of the landslide movement. And I am grateful that my father's grave was not affected. Because its position is far from the scene of the incident.
And at that time, my brother, who was the leader of the community, invited other community leaders and other residents to help clean up the destroyed walls and inspect the tombs that were hit by landslides.
And for the damaged tomb, the one who repairs it is the gravedigger. Because only they know how to find a loophole so the tomb doesn't collapse again. So we only helped clean up the remnants of the landslide and helped lift the tombstones of the tombs that were displaced by the landslide.
" How is the condition of the body in the grave? Is it safe? "
According to the tomb officials, the condition of the bodies in this tomb was buried deep enough. So, the tomb officials said the condition of the body was quite safe and only the top part was damaged. Even though it is safe, the cemetery officials said, the tombs damaged by landslides must be repaired immediately so that the damage is getting worse and causes further landslides.
And this process may take 2 to 3 days depending on the weather. And I hope that landslides don't happen again in the cemetery area. Because I feel sorry for the family whose graves of family members who have died are also affected by this. And hopefully this work can be completed easily.
I will share some photos of the condition of the cemetery that was hit by the landslide this morning.
So, those are some photos that I share with you. From the photos you see, these are some of the tombs that were affected. And the latest news from this afternoon, some graves that were badly damaged tomorrow will begin to be repaired. And the cracked wall this afternoon had been destroyed so as not to hit the houses of residents near the tomb. I hope that this work can be completed quickly and safety. And also I hope this is the last incident so as not to add to the damage to the tomb and not affect the houses of other residents.
