Keep your goals as a secret

People have a lot of dream aspirations and goals that we want to achieve, and since we are social human beings we like to talk about them too, but maybe now stop telling people what are our goals, why are we should not be done because when we tell others what we are doing, we are less likely to achieve those goals and actually achieve them.

In a 2009 study, a group of researchers examined 163 people in 4 separate tests, asked each participant to write down his or her personal goals, then explained his or her commitment to his or her goal in the first half of the room. And the other half didn't and keep their mouth shut.

Each was given 45 minutes to achieve his goal but he was told that he could stop at any time when the results were quite interesting.

The group, which was silent on its goals, worked for an average of 45 minutes after being asked about their progress.

Their tendency was very realistic. Most of them said that they have a lot of work to do before they can achieve their goal.

However, the group had a different story to tell everyone in the room about their goals.

The singles worked an average of 33 minutes before leaving, and when asked about their progress, they were much more confident than the other groups.

Most of them said they were pretty close to achieving their goals.

This wasn't really the case, and although the group didn't make much progress towards their goals, they still felt they did a lot more.

Researchers have concluded that telling people about their goals creates a sense of premature completion.

This is because when you declare someone to sleep, you feel good and you feel that you have done something to achieve that goal, although you have not done anything yet.

In other words, there has been a mistake in speaking out to do your mind.

THERE ARE FOUR TYPES OF PEOPLE

  • The first is those who do not take action and still tell everyone about their goals. Your New Year's resolution will tell everyone how they can improve themselves but they don't really do anything.

  • Then second, there is another who does not take action and does not tell anyone that he has aspirations but does not achieve anything and does not tell anyone nor does he keep his goals but never Could not find a lot of boring people.

  • The third type are the ones who take action and tell everyone that they are productive people, but it will happen that they do all the work, but constantly boast to others that they are basically full of themselves.

  • And finally the fourth type or those who take action and don't tell anyone that these people have done all this but don't tell a single soul that they are super achievements who don't feel the need to talk about their success but the result comes. Let’s talk for that I’m willing to argue that the person who works and doesn’t tell anyone is the best person.

The truth is, people don't really care what you say. They only care about what you really do, but they don't want to hear from anyone who is bragging, so the first type is the best type in my opinion.

If you know that all of this will stop you from communicating your goals to others, it really won't help. You don't want to be the guy who just talks about all the things he's going to do and takes no action.

Keep in mind that your mind will get entangled in talking about dreams and goals and not being wrong is not something special to everyone in the world, but only those who are really amazing to achieve these goals.

I know that sometimes it can be difficult to have interesting goals. To put an end to this desire, you should write this down and make a plan to achieve it. Then stick to this plan, but don't tell anyone about it. As they say, work hard in silence and shout success.

Do you still want to tell others about your goals or after you read this article, do you realize you should not? Well, after all it's your choice!
