Always say lower than necessary. If you have read the law of authority, you have probably read this. This article will explain the five benefits of silence. There are times when it is unwise to remain silent as it can raise doubts, but it is very useful when done properly.

  • YOU WILL LEARN TO READ PEOPLE

If you are often silent, you often hear and see others. When you try to fill the silence, you can see the real intentions of the people.

When you are silent, you need to give someone a chance to read your body language and see if it matches the words they are saying. Over time, you may begin to see trends.

I can start reading people based on some comments.

The power to guide someone is a powerful skill that you can learn in silence. The information you get when you read someone so powerful and you can use it to make some feel more or less uncomfortable depending on your intentions.

  • YOU CANNOT TAKE THE WORDS BACK ONCE THEY ARE OUT

You don't want to say anything to regret. Silence is a great way to help self-management. Sometimes your boss can abuse you and you want to go out with a little bit.

You may be satisfied in a blink of an eye, but it's not worth the money in the future. Serving your ego only keeps you away from what you want in life.

Hold your tongue, calm down, and gently hold the ground. Make sure you have a strategic answer, not just divergence. Even if your boss is wrong, radiating emotions can make things worse.

Take the proper steps and make sure they leave it to you. However, if you are often abused, you should consider moving.

  • YOU WILL BE A GREAT LISTENER

If you read Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Impress People, you'll remember Dale talking to a florist at a dinner party. Most of the time he was sitting on the floor listening and talking. At the end of the party, the destination would go to tell the host that Dell was one of the best chats they've ever had.

All of them were praised for being quiet most of the time and you can repeat that situation. People want to hear and understand. By remaining silent and listening, you will feel good as the other person speaks. If you are willing to talk less and listen more, you will look more attractive.

  • SILENCE IS A GREAT TOOL IN NEGOTIATIONS

Both parties want something from each other. The long drawn-out interval is strange and uncomfortable for both parties.

If you can calm down quietly, you will have the upper hand in negotiations. It is human nature to invalidate silence. So the other side will panic and you can jump into whatever you want.

Silence will show that the other party needs you more than you need them. You can also use silence to plan what to say next. If you finish a lot of things instead, on the other hand you can see that you are nervous and they have a hand in the negotiations. You do not wish to provide further information as this may be against you and will be used.

  • DREW APPEAR MORE POWERFUL

Powerful people in the press and threatening them by saying less. The more you say, the more likely you are to look stupid. If you’ve ever heard someone talk about how great he is all the time, you think he was a narcissist or a case crack.

Louis XIV courtiers are always trembling with fear when their bad door comes. He always said that I would watch him with a frightening silence and follow him.

This was a very powerful man and his silence was the foundation of his power. Even if you are not a king, you can use silence to look more powerful.

What you say means more and carries more weight when you say something. If you are often silent, people will often find it difficult to expect and read you and therefore take more care of you.

I always believe in silence, I'm applying this quotation on my everyday life "Less talk, less mistakes" and I think it is true because I can feel the tranquility on my surroundings when I am silent.
