When Christianensen was a graduate student in the early 2000's, there were about 100 known exoplanets. He said the new batch of 65 newly discovered planets includes Jupiter-sized planets as well as two Earth-sized planets.

However, the temperature there is about 620 degrees Fahrenheit (327 degrees Celsius). There are cold planets. The new James Webb telescope will be able to travel and take pictures through the atmosphere of these planets.
