The name of the samurai is Neymar. Standing with a sword in his hand, Neymar's dress is like the flag of Brazil. It should be a surprise to see such a samurai character. A group of artists from the World Flags Organization has organized this unorthodox work. They have represented the countries participating in the Olympics through manga-style samurai characters. There are various events on the occasion of Tokyo Olympics all over Japan. After a long wait, the Tokyo Olympics 2020 was inaugurated on July 23. Due to the global epidemic situation, the Olympic Games were delayed, so everyone had different concerns. The gallery was deserted due to strict restrictions. Everyone has seen the interesting opening ceremony of the Olympics on the TV screen. There is no shortage of enjoyment at home, So Japan arranged everything differently to entertain the audience. In everything, they have left an impression of Japanese culture. For that, the World Flags Organization has drawn the samurai keeping in mind the traditions and flags of the participating countries.

Japan's traditional samurai warriors no longer exist. However, the samurai characters are known to everyone through comics, cartoons and movies. So far, samurai characters have been painted in about 64 countries. The artists have tried to put the colors of the flags of each country in their painted samurai characters. Just like the golden-haired, brown-eyed samurai character Justin represents the United States. The eagle, the symbol of the country's flag, is placed with the Mexican character. In the case of naming the characters, a popular or well-known name of each country has also been chosen.

For example the name of the PH samurai is 'RISAR'

It's birthday : 12 June

Body type: B

Height : 175

Special skill: Exclima

Weak point : Spend quietly

Fav. Food : Lechon

And it's hobby is taking selfie hahaha!

Before drawing each character, the artists had to learn about the culture and rules of the countries. But the World Flags Organization has asked for public opinion on Twitter about the samurai character of the country they have little idea about. The artists have been able to correct the mistakes of many characters in various suggestions on Twitter. Their website also gives a brief description of each character with their date of birth, height, blood group and temperament. There is also a description of the history of the flag of the country in which the character is made.

The artists have received a lot of response by presenting each country as a samurai-warrior. They are collecting good wishes and praise from different countries. The embassies of Venezuela and Honduras have also contacted the artists. The two countries have asked for permission to display the pictures. The whole thing was part of the Tokyo Olympics campaign, but the artists didn't make any money from it. They think that if people are more enthusiastic about the Tokyo Olympics through this event, they can enjoy sitting at home, that is their success. Just as samurai warriors represented different countries, so did Japanese traditions and culture. The touch of Japan in every event of this Olympic event has made the spectators very happy.

I have only watch about samurai on tv as a kid. Now, I have a little to no knowledge about it but the Japanese people really did a great job in showcasing their culture and identity in the Tokyo Olympics.

I had already seen them. Really impressive the work done. The quality, the details, the way to represent an entire country in an anime is from only a few artists.
