Being conscious, being here

Fully present, without fear

Alive to beauty, alive to now

To live in this moment, and take the vow

To let go of past and future plight

And embrace the present with all our might

For in this moment, there is true life

And to be conscious is to avoid strife

So let us cherish the mystery

Of this existence, so full of history
