The current market sentiment is totally bearish starting with Bitcoin BTC losing around 8-10% of its price value when it entered the month of May - which was foreseen by analysts that May will be one of the most bearish months for cryptocurrencies especially from how they saw it performed during May 2021 massive sell-off.

Just like most cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin Cash BCH still correlates with Bitcoin BTC in terms of its price. So when Bitcoin BTC dropped, most of the time, Bitcoin Cash BCH will eventually follow. It's not a new scenario and altcoins like Bitcoin Cash suffer even more when Bitcoin BTC underperforms.

Over the year since Bitcoin Cash last reached its 2021 high on May, it has been performing very bad. Of course, this is only about the price and not how it performs as a decentralized cash. The last time we saw Bitcoin Cash performing very well was still during the May 2021 bull season where it reached nearly $2,000 in its price. But also after the massive sell-off on May to June, the price of Bitcoin Cash continues to perform bitterly and now at the 2022 low of $270 - that was around -85% loss of its price value for a year.

But the worst thing that I can consider as an opportunity about Bitcoin Cash is that the last time it reached an all time high was already over 4 years ago now (December 2017). Compared to other cryptocurrencies that was breaking all-time highs but nearly have the potential with Bitcoin Cash BCH as a cash, Bitcoin Cash BCH gives a sign that it was getting ready in the ground for a massive recovery ahead.

I always believed with the saying, "What comes up must go down". And I can mirror this to the hype NTFs currently have.

And in reverse, "What goes down, must come up" will not always be applicable to every projects. But Bitcoin Cash with the potential to distinguish paper money and a great/potentially competitor for Bitcoin BTC to be the most accepted digital cash, seeing it reaches a higher valuation is not a surprise.
