Cellulite is one of the biggest problems that plagues women, especially during the summer. We are constantly looking, to see how much we have, we are thinking about what to do, whether it has decreased… According to research, as many as 90% of women have cellulite on some part of the body, and in recent years advertisements for various products are increasingly present. We are being bombarded from all sides with various preparations, massages against cellulite, which additionally creates pressure that we must not have cellulite, that we are ugly and undesirable if we do not do something.

  • Orange peel-like skin appears depending on our lifestyle, genetics, hormones and other factors. You should know that there is no magic solution, not just one solution, just as the cause of its creation is not just one. It is not crucial how many kilograms, nor how old we are. It is devastating that younger and younger girls have a problem with cellulite, almost children. There are several reasons for this, and they are all related to an unhealthy lifestyle - too fast, unhealthy foods, too few physical activists, too much time with the computer…

What is cellulite?

  • Cellulite is a deformity most often visible on women's skin, where due to the accumulation of fat and toxins under the skin, the connective tissue weakens and skin deformities resembling orange peel are created. It occurs as a consequence of microcirculation disorders of the subcutaneous tissue, as a result of which incomplete excretion of toxins that remain in the body occurs. Mostly women have it, although neither men nor children are spared this problem. In women, cellulite is most common on the legs, thighs, buttocks and abdomen.

  • It is believed that the main cause of this phenomenon is physical inactivity and unhealthy diet.

  • Read below what are the natural ways to remove cellulite.

  • Cellulite removers are generally expensive and not available to everyone. The summer season is approaching when our legs will be revealed, and the beaches are waiting for us, where we all want to show ourselves in the best possible way. I always prefer natural care products over various chemicals. That's why I used natural ways to remove cellulite. I will share them with you today…

Dry brushing

  • Many believe that this method is the most effective natural remedy for eliminating cellulite. In some cases, women have noticed a significant reduction in the appearance of cellulite after only a month. Dry brushing works by opening pores and removing dead skin, which helps cleanse the body by allowing toxins to come out more freely. This method also improves circulation and stimulates collagen production, which leads to stronger and smoother skin. The basic guidelines for dry brushing are as follows:

Use natural semi-solid brushes

  • Brush from the legs to the heart, towards the thighs, abdomen, arms and shoulders. You will always brush your hands sideways, and brush your shoulders down, your back from top to bottom, because such brushing will direct the lymph towards the heart. Use long strokes. Brush on the abdomen and armpits in a circular motion in a clockwise direction. Let your rule be to always move the brush towards the center of the body

  • Make your strokes firm enough to stimulate the skin, but not so hard as to irritate.

  • For an even better effect, apply an anti-cellulite cream after this treatment.

  • Oil and sugar peeling

  • Mix sugar and baby oil in a ratio of 3: 1 and massage the delicate area with cellulite. The oil will make the skin smooth and the sugar will remove the "dead" skin.

Cocoa coating

  • Pour 200 g of cocoa powder in half a liter of hot water, stir and cool slightly. Apply the mixture in a layer of 2-3 millimeters. Wrap in foil and after 10-15 minutes rinse with lukewarm water. Repeat this two to three times a week.

Anti-cellulite coffee

  • Coffee is great in the fight against cellulite. Here are three suggestions on how to use coffee to treat cellulite.

  • Peeling: two cups of coffee, half a cup of brown sugar and 2-3 teaspoons of olive oil are needed for preparation. Mix all this and gently massage the skin with the resulting mixture. Caffeine reduces water retention and the appearance of cellulite.

  • Coffee coating: ground coffee, olive oil and a plastic bag are needed. Mix, apply, wrap with a bag or heated towels. Hold for 5-10 minutes then rinse with warm water and repeat this often. This wrap will also help tighten the skin.

  • Coffee packaging: coat the skin with coffee grounds, put gauze and then over plastic wrap. Leave for half an hour and rinse with a warm shower. Repeat this regularly and you will see that you will gradually get rid of cellulite.

Homemade anti-cellulite cream

  • Homemade cream made according to this recipe is an ideal tool in the fight against "orange peel", and it is also effective in the fight against stretch marks. The ingredients of the cream are:

  • 100-150 ml Nivea Soft cream or some other baby cream

  • 6 mummy tablets (bought in pharmacies, and it is actually a natural resin that is collected from cracks in the caves of hard-to-reach mountain areas (at an altitude of over 2500m) in the Pamirs, Altai and Himalayas)

  • 20 drops of essential oil of lemon or orange

  • 6 drops of rosemary essential oil

  • 5 drops of cinnamon essential oil

  • For the preparation of homemade anti-cellulite cream, children's cream is the most suitable, because it does not contain any harmful additives. It has an ideal composition of fat and moisture. Mix the cream with the crushed tablets, then add the essential oils. After 8-10 hours, the cream is ready to use. The first results are visible after only 7 days of use, and you can use the cream prepared in this way for a maximum of 3 weeks.

  • Massages and creams cure only the consequence, not the cause. The cause of cellulite is inadequate nutrition and lack of exercise and recreation.

An anti-cellulite diet

In the fight against cellulite, creams alone are not enough. In addition to various peels and creams, it is very important what we take into the body. Certain foods and teas also help us. It is important to note that a healthy diet, in addition to reducing cellulite, also has a beneficial effect on the whole organism.

To rid the body of harmful substances, increase the intake of foods that are rich in vitamin C (such as lemons, kiwis) and those rich in potassium (bananas, peas, nuts).

It is understood that carbonated drinks, sweets and snacks, as well as too fatty and salty foods should be eliminated. All this is harmful not only when it comes to the appearance of cellulite, but for the whole organism.

A healthy, moderate diet is a natural remedy for cellulite. According to research, these are foods that help fight cellulite, and I can tell you that in my experience and the experience of my friends, they really work:

  • Lycopene: it is found in tomatoes, watermelons, grapefruit… It protects the skin from toxins that cause cellulite.

  • Water: If we drink a lot of water and eat foods rich in water (such as watermelon, cucumbers, melons, lettuce), we will eliminate toxins and fat from the body and organism.

  • Coconut oil: I use it for massage as an ingredient in some anti-cellulite "creams".

  • Herbal teas: accelerate circulation and detoxify the body. For that reason, they are effective for the treatment of cellulite, and the best are: nettle, dandelion, cherry stalks and, of course, green tea.

Herbal teas against cellulite

  • Nettle tea: This tea primarily helps prevent cellulite. It cleanses the body and is an excellent diuretic. Nettle stimulates circulation and detoxification of the body, so cellulite is difficult to develop in such conditions. Excess water and fat are also expelled from the body.

  • Preparation: Pour 1-2 teaspoons of fresh or dried nettle leaves with 250 ml of boiling water, leave covered for ten minutes and then strain.

  • Dandelion tea: Put a small spoonful of chopped dried root in 2 dl of water and cook on low heat for a few minutes. Leave to stand for 15 minutes and then strain. Apart from being a natural remedy for cellulite, it also helps in the fight against excess weight. It lowers cholesterol, cures anemia, recovers the liver.

  • Cherry stalk tea: This tea is used to stimulate the secretion of urine, better work of the digestive and digestive organs, for the treatment of kidney and bladder diseases, and also for the treatment of cellulite.

  • Preparation: you need 30-50 grams of cherry stalks, a liter of water and half a kilo of cherries. Pour cold water over the stalks and wait 12 hours. Cook for a few minutes on low heat, then pour over the whole cherry fruit. After 20 minutes, strain through gauze and drink a glass approximately 5 times a day.

  • Green tea: it is a powerful antioxidant. I definitely start the day with a cup of green tea, and they say that it is great for the whole organism, including cellulite, even if we drink only one cup every morning.

  • This tea has been used in China for more than 5,000 years, and Europe has learned about its excellent characteristics. Apart from cellulite, it is also used to burn fat, reduce dementia, and even fights heart and malignant diseases.

  • It is good for cellulite because it contains caffeine and theobromine, which release the fat trapped in the orange peel and enable burning. 3-5 cups a day are recommended, and if the taste of green tea does not suit you, you can always improve it with a little lemon or mint.

  • Combined anti-cellulite tea: Prepare 25 g of dandelion leaves, 25 g of nettle leaves, 25 g of dandelion root and 25 g of burdock root. Pour a teaspoon of roots over a cup of water, put on the fire and cook for 20 minutes. Add a teaspoon of leaves, remove from the heat, let stand for 10 minutes and then strain. Drink 2-3 cups of tea a day.

  • Basil: it helps circulation, you can massage the parts of the body affected by cellulite with basil oil.

  • Ginger: You can mix fresh ginger in a blender until it becomes a cream and massage, or make juice, add a little lemon and drink - both are good for cellulite. Otherwise, ginger helps bind oxygen in the body.

  • Recent research has shown that gelatin is one of the ingredients that are good for solving the problem of cellulite. Namely, it promotes skin health, hair and nail growth; it is good for the joints, and also tightens the skin and reduces cellulite. It is recommended to consume gelatin of animal origin (it can be from bone soup or purchased powder for thickening - beef gelatin is especially recommended).

Anti-cellulite massage

Cellulite is reduced by massaging parts of the body to restore circulation and the flow of nutrients in problematic parts of the body. The great advantage of some massages is that you can easily do them yourself, by brushing your skin once a day, preferably before bathing, to stimulate blood flow, remove dead skin cells and encourage the formation of new cells. Bathing in a comfortable, warm bath with seagrass will help you improve circulation. It would be desirable to do this at least 3 times a week. When you finish bathing, massage the problem areas with appropriate essential oils, which will also stimulate circulation.

Madero therapy is becoming increasingly popular, as a type of anti-cellulite massage. It is very useful for firming and shaping the body, against wrinkles, as well as for eliminating localized fats and cellulite. Its main characteristic is that it is done with the help of special wooden rolling pins. Anti-cellulite maderotherapy works by accelerating the burning of fat and fibrous cellulite so that it can be eliminated in a completely natural and easy way from the body along with other toxins.

The biggest advantages of madero therapy are:

  • A natural non-invasive method

  • Activates the lymphatic system

  • It reduces water retention in the body and removes toxins from the body

  • Accelerates metabolism

  • It breaks down cellulite

  • Reduces cellulite size

  • It shapes the muscles of the arms and legs

  • Tones and tightens the skin

  • Firms thighs and buttocks

  • In order to achieve the desired results, a series of 10 to 15 treatments is necessary.

  • Consult your doctor before applying madero therapy!

Physical activity against cellulite

The decision to be physically active, that appropriate physical activity is necessary for our health and good physical appearance, should be adopted for life! It will bring us health and a better look and success in the fight against cellulite!

Exercise melts fat deposits, improves circulation and improves the flow of oxygen to cells and strengthens muscle tissue. Run, swim, walk, ride a bike and thus stimulate circulation and metabolism. It is very important that you learn to breathe properly while exercising! Just half an hour of exercise a day will improve the excretion of toxins.

Here are some exercises that help reduce cellulite, and can be done at home:

  • Half squat - Spread your legs shoulder-width apart and stretch your arms out in front of you. Now bend your knees and squat, but not to the end, but as if you want to sit on a chair. Repeat 10 times to start. After the last squat, stay in a squat position and hold it for a few seconds. The longer the better.

  • Squat with a step - Make a step with one leg forward, pull in the abdomen, you can put your hands on your hips. Bend your back leg at the knee and squat. The back is straight, and focus on the buttocks. Return to starting position and do the same with the other leg. Repeat, changing legs alternately. For starters, 10 times is enough.

  • Riding a bike on the floor - Lie on the floor on your back and put your hands next to your body. Bend your legs at the knees and make movements as if you were riding a bicycle. The legs are parallel to the floor.

  • Lifting the buttocks off the floor - Lie on your back and place your hands next to your body. Bend your legs at the knees, while your feet are firmly supported on the floor. Lift your buttocks and hips as high as possible and hold until you count to 10. Repeat the exercise several times.

  • Lifting the leg from the kneeling position - Kneel on the floor. The front part of the body is also on the floor, you are leaning on your forearms. The back is parallel to the floor. Raise one leg so that it is bent at the knee. The thighs are parallel to the floor, and the lower leg is directed upwards. Now make movements up and down with your leg bent. Don't straighten your leg. Repeat 20 times to start, then change legs.

  • Lifting the straight leg - The leg should be parallel to the floor. He makes short moves up and down about 20 times, with one foot and the other. Do not lower your foot to the floor, but move it in the air.

  • Lift your legs sideways - Lie on your side and stretch your legs. Lift one leg 10 cm off the floor and tighten to the maximum. Do short up-and-down movements with a tight leg. Repeat 20 times. After that, leave the leg in a calm position for 10 seconds, tight.

  • Bend your leg backwards - Repeat the previous position. Lie on your side, raise one leg about 10 cm above the other. Now bend the raised leg at the knee. Don't lift your leg, just bend it at the back. It remains parallel to the floor.

  • If you are not zealous when it comes to exercise, do not despair. For those of us who are lazy to exercise, cycling or a daily walk is enough. Of course, if you combine it with exercises, the effects will be seen much faster.

Conclusion

  • You didn't get cellulite overnight and it can't go away overnight! There is no magic formula, no miracle creams without a combination with adequate nutrition and physical activity.

  • Cellulite is a consequence of an excessive increase in the volume of adipose tissue cells, ie incomplete excretion of toxins that remain in the body, which prevents the normal drainage of blood and lymph that drain waste fluids from the tissue.

  • Cellulite removers are generally expensive and not available to everyone. That is why I prefer natural products that are cheap and do not contain harmful chemicals. Make your own oil and sugar scrub, cocoa wrap, various coffee scrubs, homemade anti-cellulite cream…

  • In the fight against cellulite, creams alone are not enough. In addition to various peels and creams, it is very important what we take into the body. Certain foods and teas also help us. It is important to note that these foods, in addition to reducing cellulite, also have a beneficial effect on the whole organism.

  • The decision to be physically active, that appropriate physical activity is necessary for our health and good physical appearance, should be adopted for life! It will bring us health and a better look and success in the fight against cellulite!

  • We can summarize that everything is equally important if you really want to get rid of the problem called cellulite: you have to regulate your diet, increase the intake of these foods, massage already endangered areas with handmade or purchased cream, drink some herbal tea regularly and exercise. Best of all, you will get rid of cellulite naturally!
