Applications are now open for Bangladesh Army 83rd (2nd Phase) BMA (Commissioned Officer) long course.
BMA Training – As part of the long course, selected candidates will go through training at the Bangladesh Military Academy at Faujdarhat, Chittagong. Salient features of the training include:
A 3 (three) year training at the academy;
Alongside training, study for an Engineering degree (EECE, CSE, ME, CE) under Military Institute of Science & Technology (MIST) or Bachelors (Honors) (IR, Economics, Physics, BBA) under Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP);
At the end of the training, commission as a Lieutenant;
At 4th year, completion of Bachelors (Honors)/ Engineering degree at BUP/MIST.
Selection process:
Primary Health Test and Viva: This will be held on 3rd March till 21st March 2019 all around the country;
Written Exam: Only those who are selected from Primary health test and viva; they will participate in the Written exam. Which will be held on 24th May 2019 based on Bangla, English, General Maths and General Knowledge. And the result will be published 13th June 2019;
ISSB Exam: They will contact the selected candidate from the previous test;
Final Health Test;
Final Selection.

Eligibilities
Age: 17-21 years old as in July 01, 2020.
Minimum physical eligibility:
Height: 1.63 meters (5 feet 4 inches) for males and 1.57 meters (5 feet 2 inches) for females
Weight: 54 kilograms (120 pounds) for males and 47 kilograms (103 pounds) for females. Weight exceeding the Armed Forces determined scale will be ineligible.
Minimum educational requirements:
National curriculum: GPA- 5.00 in one and GPA-4.50 in another in SSC and HSC/ equivalent exams.
English Medium: 3 A’ s and 3 B’s out of 6 subjects in O’levels and minimum B grade in 2 subjects in A’levels/ 2 A’s, 3 B’s and 1 C out of 6 subjects in O’levels and 1 A and 1 B in 2 subjects in A’levels.
