Perverts

Around Africa especially in Nigeria in most recent times there have been a surge on reports of rape and all other related sex offences! Including rape on minor and violent episodes with adults. This trend seems to be on a steady rise!

Moreover, more shocking and abominable sex offences are now being reported! We now hear reports of fathers secretly sleeping with their daughters for years! Such occurrence portends disturbing social-physcological, financial and political times that we are in! Something has gone wrong with the society, Nigerian as much as the rest of black Africa needs a sweeping cultural and political revolution!

Root Causes

There have been speculations that the aggressive and erotic nature of modem day fashion trends amongst youths is responsible for the high number of rape cases! Simply put they argue that indecent dressing leads to rape. It's prevalence in our society cannot be over emphasized!

However, one must not forget to butress the point and impact the family union plays in all this! Broken marriages, unwanted or unplanned babies, death of the efficacy and integrity of our Educational system are major factors responsible for most of the vices we see in our society today! This trend must be reversed with utmost conciousness!

Gay Violence

South Africa in recent times has seen a number of deaths from the gay community as a result of homophobia! A recent protest where members of the LGBT community came out holding placards and media briefings with a sizeable police presence visible in the background goes to show how sure the situation is!

Africa is still grappling to settle and balance it's socio-political life between his own cultures and the influence of the west! There are those who are do and those who are against! Gay rights is upheld in South Africa and gay laws protecting the community exists! However this cannot protect them from sometimes secret and very violent homophobic extremists who seeks righteousness by killing them!

Nigeria could be worse for this set of sexual prey, there is a fourteen years jail term for any Nigerian caught engaging in gay activities!!!

The Way Forward

We as Africans we have to take out time to know ourselves our differences and effective ways of living in peace and guaranteeing the safety and well-being and rights of Evey black man!

Moreover, as a matter of urgency the whole of the black world in the diaspora and in the continent of Africa needs to unite and experience an Awakening! Such as is occuring with the black lives matter protests! Our revolution begins now! We must return to ourselves! And recieve the blessings and directions of our Ancestors!

With so much evil we have poluted the Land! With our curses and transgressions we have angered the gods! Abominations! Sexual abnormalities! Weird behaviours and the neglect of the full rights and privilege of a black man has a profound phycological effect!
