IMMORTALITY
Immortality is a concept strange to the human experience! It is a believe that one being plants or animals life could exist in eternity. There are no known records of anyone or being existing for thousands of years except the mytical vampires we see on tv!
Immortality simply put is the concept of endless existence through time and space of living organisms, be it an intelligent life or not! Most people don't seem to believe in the concept of immortality with the argument that it goes against the cycle of life!
You can't believe in immortality and reincarnation at the same time, you have to choose one or the other. For both concepts are on parallel lines. Reincarnation involves the termination of one's life And the recreation or manifestations of that being into another world in time and space, while immortality does not involve the termination of life, it refers to it's perfect
and unretarded endless existence!
DE JA VU
Among the strong points for the argument supporting the belief of reincarnation is the feeling of dejavu! Simply put, it refers to the feeling of being in a situation or event that seemed to had occur previously but lost somewhere in memory! At least that is how I describe the feeling having experienced it several times!
The feeling of dejavu is unexplainable! Wether it is an event from a past life or just a cognitive feeling is yet to be determined! But it is so Strong that theological theories exist to back it up!

Different religious bodies including the Catholic Church believes in reincarnation, with numerous theories to support it!
While theological thesis seems to support reincarnation and spiritual immortality of the soul in a perfect form, the Darwin's theory of evolution and creation seems not to! Darwin's theory butress the existence of a life cycle brought about by the big bang. The crust of this theory is that, to support the continuation of life all matter must decay to form the combination needed for the formation of new life thereby creating an endless circle!
Darwin's theory of evolution is at loggerheads with the concepts of immortality! Since it involves the decay and termination of a life and reemergence of new ones! While immortality involves the endless existence of a soul! This concept of very popular in the Christian culture for it is the reward of their faithfulness to gain eternal life! The question is, scientifically speaking: is immortality of the human soul possible!
NANO TECH
The human body is wonderfully made. most people believe it was originally made to exist for eternity! How can we be sure that the human body can exist for eternity! According to available history from the holy book, the oldest man who has lived longer than anyone on earth is Methuselah at an age of almost a thousand years. That is by far any human as gone!
In our present world we barely hear a hundred And something years old, what a huge difference from almost a thousand years. The life span of man's existence depreciated along the centuries. The argument is if man could live for a thousand years then man could live forever. Let's consider the scientific process.
The human body is made up of cells! These cells are responsible for our physical outlook! The cell that causes old Age or degeneration if manipulated can extend the life of a person for say another fifty years! NANO TECH is an ambitious scientific research they aims to create a mechanism by which cells responsible for degeneration are destroyed earlier, thereby prompting the body to produce new cells. This method is believed to keep a person younger and extend it's life span!
CONCLUSION
I believe in the concept of immortality. As for reincarnation am not too sure. Though I won't dismiss the gut feeling that is possible such concepts exist! Just for the fact of the phenomenon of dejavu!
Immortality of the Soul is necessary for reincarnation to occur. IMMORTALITY does not need Reincarnation to exist since it has no terminal point! I find it easy to believe in the immortality of the human soul to than to believe in reincarnation.
Scientific research has proven that man was made in a way never to perish. The way the immune system was built goes to marvelous design and endless system of food and water cycles. Ingredients for matter that has existed for centuries!
