My previous post about chameleon, thier nature and characteristic behavior

Read that post to understand the following one better.

So we have some questions regarding the changing of color of a chameleon. Let's start with the most asked questions.

Question

Why do chameleons change their colour?

Answer.

So the list is long I'll mention some of them here :-

1) To be attracted by female chameleons

2) To show territory defence to other males

3) Aggressive behaviour

4) To help store heat ( as they will be in excited state and then reflect light of longer wavelength and hence of low energy, so they capture the most of the energy in this way)

5) To compete for mating

6) Change of mood

Question.

What is the colour of a dead chameleon?

Answer.

The colour of a dead chameleon is dark brown or black, this is because that they are neither in a relaxed state nor in an excited state rather they are under attack of rigor Morris. That's all hope you like it and understand it, it took me so much struggle to collect all these information from different experiments but luckily you got all in one post.

Thanks for your attention.
