All this is a manifestation of pride on the part of a unique personality.

Thanks to pride, you can both go up the career ladder and go down to the very bottom. For example, a person fulfills his job duties and is proud of it, at the same moment as another person does not have time to complete them and is late all the time. A proud person can show himself as a person who has dignity and is ready to help in a difficult situation. And there are people who, on the contrary, try to show the bad sides of another person to raise themselves in the eyes of their superiors. Such people do not deserve respect.

For example, feeling proud is the same as getting satisfaction from doing something. It can be job satisfaction, good grades in school, or good parenting.
