Seeing children begging on roads, stations, parks and every nook and cranny of our country is a very pathetic scene. Their ego self-respect, persona, and sense of vying are crushed at quite an initial stage of their life. Parents are the main culprits. Society is an accomplice. Above all Government is responsible.
They don't have any future. They brave the vagaries of nature. They are seen in rags and tattered attire. They hardly take a bath. They live in hovels. Some time rounded up by police to languish in jail. They are molested and spurned by all and sundry. Often go without a meal. No schooling grooming care or help, they get away from a family like stray animals or discarded stuff.
Often seen in front of bakeries eateries kiosks and shantytowns. They are not owned even by their Kith and kin. Where do they curl up at night? Who addresses them as cutie sweetie my prince or princess. In chilly days of winter, they are shivering crying hankering after passers-by but given cold shoulder.
Their dwelling places are known as slum areas. Where no basic amenities of life are available. Disease, rebukes, snubs, deprivation, starvation, hatred, destitution, rebuff, rejection, quarantined, marooned by an ocean of affluence, leading very humiliating abject life. May they find someone to be taken care of!
Can you even imagine the case when you get a wish on your tongue and someone just grabs it from your mouth? No, you can't because you have been spoon-fed all the time. You were born with a silver spoon in your mouth.
