Knowledge
Seems a word but believe me it isn't just a word. This word carries the whole universe around itself. From the heights of the sky to the dept of ocean everything lies in this single word "Knowledge ". I have a question to ask.
Why do we seek knowledge?
Knowledge creates a gap between animals and humans. We, humans, think, act likewise, work precisely, own a motive, an ambition is there for us to fight for. This serves an evolutionary purpose, the information allows for better choices, we own more varieties which makes us able to select a better and beneficial option for us. The information provides us the platform to let our perspective enhanced. The more options the better the selection.
Knowledge provides more efficient search, more sophisticated comparisons, which leads to greater chances of survival. The competition is a tough one when the competition is acknowledged. Knowledge provides the base of actions and selections.
Acquiring information is the primary evolutionary purpose of the sense organ, we once hear a person's voice we would remember that particular voice, and then we no longer need the face to recognize, we smell the aroma and then we don't need to remember the name of the source, we taste the foods and spices, we store the information in our mind so that we can remember the dishes without knowing their names, we touch and save the information that what stings, what trickles, what pricks, what hurts, what burns, this information is stored and now we don't have to experience new objects whether they hurt or a lot we simply recall our previous knowledge that if a thorn can prick, the nail will do the same, we don't have to experience the pain from being pricked by a nail.
Knowledge has been a major driver of evolution for millions of years. The acknowledged ones survived while the rest couldn't make it to survival. They just got extinct.
So for sure the seek of knowledge is a must for every individual.
