We are living in a new age. An age where borders feel more like imaginary lines, not heavily guarded stone walls and barbed wire fences. Age of a new Land of the free an age of The Internet.
And we the people of this new era of global connectedness are no longer confined to life, career, and possibilities of our local communities. We all now more than ever before truly are citizens of the world.
The Dream of the New Age
We are living in a fast-paced, ever-changing world. World of an endless struggle to keep up with what’s happening around us, but also a world of endless possibilities.
There are countless stories of success all around us everywhere we look. Creators are pursuing their passions and leading their lives in a way that would not be possible without this global connectedness. People from all around the world are being enabled by technology to share their unique stories with the world. And what’s even more amazing — make a living while doing so. And seeing it happen, has sparked a flame in countless more aspiring creators to start working towards their dream.
The Dark Side of the Dream
There is no easy way to the top. If you want to live the dream, you have to put in the work. But not everyone will freely share this simple truth. What’s simple is not always easy to sell. But what’s easy to sell is surely appealing for those who are in it for the money.
It would surely be nice if there was 1 simple trick that would help you achieve everything you ever wanted. But there isn’t. The real trick is hard work, consistency, and passion for what you do. But there will always be people trying to tell you there is a trick. And what they are actually doing is exploiting The Creators Dream. Sellers of get-rich-quick schemes, self-proclaimed gurus, hustlers. And sadly enough even some of your fellow creators, dreamers like you. The ones who have caught on to one of the get-rich-quick schemes and lost their way.
The Silver Lining
Although there is a lot of false advertising and get-rich-quick scheme selling going on, we are truly living in the age where The Creators Dream can become reality, has become for many, and will become for those who put in the work. For those who can care to provide real value. If you really want to do it, you will find a way to do it.
Be the Change You Want to See in the World
If you are a creator working towards The Creators Dream, be the creator you’d like others to be.
“With great power comes great responsibility”
Provide real value, guide others on their way. Don’t try to sell false illusions. If you are putting something out there in the world, you have the power to influence the minds of others. Use this power wisely. And spread the message.
