Eating healthy food can reduce your risk, but it won't eliminate it. Some processed food have been said to increase the risk of cancer.
The following are foods that can cause cancer without our knowledge.
1. Alcohol.
This is one of the leading cause of cancer. Excessive drinking is known to cause heart failure, stroke and sudden death. It can also damage the liver and kidneys.
2. Refined sugars.
Research show that cancer love sweet things to feed themselves and increase in size. If you already have a risk for cancer, it is a good idea to stay away from sweetened foods.
3. Highly processed white flours.
Mills now bleach flour with chlorine gas to whiten it. This chlorine gas is a dangerous irritant that is not safe to inhale and can be lethal.
4. Artificial sweeteners.
AspartameĀ is an artificial non-saccharide sweetener 200 times sweeter than sucrose, and is commonly used as a sugar substitute in foods and beverages. When your stomach processes this chemical it produces chemicals that can cause cancer.
5. Potato chips.
Most people link potato chips to weigh gain and high cholesterol. In addition to this they contain excessive sodium levels that can be harmful to the body.
6. GMO fruits.
GMO fruits or non-organic fruits contain dangerous chemicals. They contain herbicides and pesticides eg atrazine that are harmful. These substances can cause severe damage to our organs, particularly those in the reproductive system.
7. Diet foods and drinks.
Diet foods such as soda and even packaged food contain a chemical called aspartame. This chemical causes many diseases and sicknesses such as cancer, birth defects and heart problems.
