Private Villa in Panglao Livingroom & Kitchen
My husband and I got married on a holiday. We made it that way so not to miss celebrating our anniversary. Thank goodness that this year, after two years of the pandemic, Bohol and perhaps the entire country is slowly getting back to normal, I mean the new normal with our facemasks on.
Panglao's resorts are still offering lower rates though due to the significantly low number of tourists on the island. Boholanos can truly take advantage of it and this time, I decided to check in at a private villa somewhere in Tawala, Panglao. This is where most of the resorts are located, very near to the white shore of Alona Beach.
The private villa is priced at Php 6,000+ if you book in online booking sites for a one-night stay but on their Facebook page, they have set the price at Php 1850 for their one-room villa, the studio one was way cheaper. Two weeks before our anniversary on February 24, I contacted their Facebook page and finally received a response. I had been trying to get in touch with them since last year but never got a reply until then.
So today, I am sharing with you how our private villa at Pineale Resort and Spa looks and a review.
We arrived a little late, check-in was supposed to be at three in the afternoon but we arrived at four, still, it was okay though it was sprinkling, we came from Ibabaw Gardens and it took us almost an hour traveling to Panglao. My niece was already sleepy but she got excited when we reached the villa.
I missed taking photos of the view from the outside of the resort though but they got around eight exclusive villas. One Studio villa which is good for two persons, Five One Bedroom villa which is also good for two persons per villa, & Two Family villa which are good for six people per villa.
Upon booking, I had to pay a booking fee of Php 500 over GCash transfer. The remaining balance can be paid upon check-in which I did and it didn't take long so we were shown to our villa, the keys were given, and we settled down.
Every villa has a gate of its own but they are sitting next to each other so we could hear the music from the other villa. There's a mini garden too, some plants and shrubs covering the jacuzzi. Here are some of the amenities offered:
Own swimming pool
Own jacuzzi
Own kitchen with utensils (NO CORKAGE if you bring your own food)
Comfort room
Dining area
Living room
Smart LED TV (Netflix, Youtube)
Wifi access
Air-conditioning Unit
Livingroom
My baby welcomes me as I knocked and asked him to open the glass sliding door. It's a white, blue, and brown theme. They got the tiles in gray and I like it! The glass walls and doors facing the pool are nice because we can see the pool from inside.
There were seats available and a couch too but the kids decided to stay on the floor. Our bags were still in the living room when I took these photos. Matti, liked it a lot, he had been running here and there. Again, I really like the tiles.
There's a woven floor mat, some ornamental plants at the center table, there were also mirrors and an air conditioner in the living room! It's very minimalistic I should say.
Since my niece was with us and the bed was only a queen-sized one, I told her to use the couch instead to sleep and she was okay with it. The couch was spacious though and there were a lot of throw pillows, like a lot!
The living room also has the dining table, solid wood with two solid wood chairs too!
Kitchen
Opposite the couch is the kitchen area, it's spacious and the counter is long. At the left area, there's the glass induction cooktop. It also has a kitchen hood which we don't have an idea if it works automatically but we couldn't find a button to make it work. We forgot to ask the people from the front desk but the cooktop was easy to use, it was also a touchscreen.
At the right end was the sink and the refrigerator too. There were around four sets of storage cabinets. Underneath the sink was the trash can, next to it had the plates and utensils, the one under the cooktop had the cookwares and the other one was empty.
I actually fall in love with this kitchen setup, very clean and the limestone wall covering half of the wall was really pretty! I like the tile choice too and it's very spacious and I want that for my personal kitchen so if we will build a house in the future, I'd make sure to apply the same, wide and long kitchen top with many outlets so I can place my laptop or working tablet in there and blog or write while cooking.
Let's check the other parts of the house in the next article! Stay tuned!
