Musfiqur Rahim, the current captain of the Bangladesh Test cricket team, was born on June 9, 1986 in Bogra.

Her father Mahbub Halim was admitted to BKSP at the behest of Tara after she was admitted to Bogra District School till 8th standard.

After completing his studies from there, he was admitted to Jahangirnagar University.

From there he got his first degree in history and completed his post-graduation.

He is the second of four brothers and one sister.

The 5-foot-4-inch right-handed batsman took to the field in May 2005 in white for Bangladesh.

After that you also get opportunity in ODI and T20.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur tied the knot in 2014 with another national team cricketer, Mahmudullah Riyadh's sister-in-law Jannatul Kefaya Mondi.

He came to cricket mainly due to the wishes of his father Mahbub Hamid and mother Rahima Khatun.
