Football

Football is a game that millions of people around the world play and love. It can be called a universal game because every small and big nation plays it.

Rules state that the time duration of the Football match is 90 Minutes and players will get 15 minutes to break in between the match.

Football is a very popular game dating back to the 13th and 14th century when it was played in England. Lack of formal rules made it a dangerous game in those days. Today Football is game played in an open field between two teams. Sizes and shapes of the fields vary in different countries. In the United States the field is 100 yards long and has lines drawn across it after every 5 yards, in Australia is shaped like an Oval while it is rectangular elsewhere. In some forms of football the players are allowed to carry the ball in their hands and score a goal. Soccer is the most popular form of football, it has two teams of 11 players each who move the ball using only their head and feet. The team which shoots the ball through The opponents  goal post is awarded a point an team which scores the maximum points is declared the winner.

On the world level, various Football organizations are established. FIFA (Federation of International Football De Association) is the International Council of Football. FIFA is a symbol of representation of Football on a universal level. Every four years, the International Battle of Football is organized by FIFA. FIFA is only one international Sports tournament where the most number of countries participate.
