In this article are the 14 most useful and practical Open-Source apps that can help you in your everyday activities.

 

If you are wondering what Open-Source is, it is a program that has fully Open-Source code(the code can be audited, viewed and modified by the user) so users can see all activites and permission.
But most of the users on the Internet use Closed-Source apps.

This list is my personal suggestions and opinions, i did not get paid to advertise these apps and i dont own any of those apps, i have used and still use every app on the list.

 

1. Posidon Launcher

Posidon Launcher is a one page launcher that aims to be minimalistic, simple and practical to use, it has many useful features that other closed-source competitors lack.

3. Customizable Icon Packs
4. Customizable Colors
5. Customizable Fonts

Cons:
1. Only one page available
2. Can only list apps by name and color

AntennaPod is relatevly popular podcast app

Pros:
1. Simple Interface
2. Large Database of Podcasts
3. Downloadable Podcasts

KeepassDX is a password manager that uses .kdbx files as databases of stored passwords and has strong encryption types to secure them.

Pros:

2. Practical Design
