Mental health...it’s NOT a taboo topic, and I’m here to help normalize that. 🙌🏼
I see so many women trying to mask their mental health struggles, heck I’ve even done it, one to many times.
I used to be embarrassed to talk about it. And asking for help?! Yeah, that never crossed my mind a few years ago.
But now I know better. I know I’m not alone. And I want to help bring awareness to the fact that mental health is just as important if not more important than physical health.
So if you’re struggling today or know someone who is, here are 3 ways that you can improve your mental health!
🧠 Talk to someone. A trusted friend, family member, therapist, coworker, anyone you trust with your feelings and thoughts.
🧠 Get outside. Vitamin D and fresh air can do so much for your mental health, mood, and it’s of course an essential vitamin too!
🧠 Stay active. Moving your body daily boosts your endorphins, which are the happy hormones that trigger your brain to release natural good vibes.
Exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health and wellness.
It is performed for various reasons, to aid growth and improve strength, preventing aging, developing muscles and the cardiovascular system, honing athletic skills, weight loss or maintenance, improving health and also for enjoyment. Many individuals choose to exercise outdoors where they can congregate in groups, socialize, and enhance well-being.
In terms of health benefits, the amount of recommended exercise depends upon the goal, the type of exercise, and the age of the person. Even doing a small amount of exercise is healthier than doing none.
Physical exercise is the performance of some activity in order to develop or maintain physical fitness and overall health.
It is often directed toward also honing athletic ability or skill.
Frequent and regular physical exercise is an important component in the prevention of some diseases such as heart disease, cardiovascular disease, Type 2 diabetes and obesity.
Hey everyone!
✨ I have a paid opportunity for anyone working in health/fitness or arts/crafts/anything creative ✨
I am in the process of organising some fun "wellness workshops" in Paris in the coming months (first event 30/10/21), where people can make new friends and join a community in English, around a physical activity and a creative activity e.g. a workshop with a yoga class + art class 🥰
I'm looking to hire freelancers who have experience in offering either a physical or creative activity - and I'm completely open to ideas!
The before and after of my fitness journey. In a span of 21 days in the 45 days journey of my workout, I was able to achieve a small difference is something that I feel proud of, as I’m glad that I listened to my body and accepted it wholeheartedly✅
Actually while taking the after video, I was in self doubt how it was possible for my tummy to shrink so well that in the 24sec in the video, u can see that I have tucked my stomach in and let it out.
@fortitude was constantly behind me to send me an after picture in the same dress but I was hesitant as I haven’t been following the routines suggested consistently yet I was able to see results.
The main thing of this fitness regime was that the pubic pain that I feared will never leave me gradually stared to reduce and my back pain because of the continuous standing and in wrong postures for my work has drastically reduced, to top it I had my ankle sprain and even that was handled with my personalised workout sessions according to my body. Thank u so much to my trainer @john for giving me right stretches and strengthening workouts✅
It’s a long process to my goal and I’m ready to go ahead, the first step to the difference is that all it takes to a steady...
