Couple Trip at Ayuste Nature Park Sea of Clouds

Maragusan, Davao de Oro is known for its highland resorts and Sea of Clouds Nature Parks. Most of the people go there to have a view sea of the clouds. 1 year ago, me and my husband visited one of the Sea of Clouds - the Ayuste Nature Park.

Maragusan is almost a 2 hour ride from our place. The main road is almost concrete though there are areas that are non concrete and prone to landslides. Almost all parts of our trip was uphill, I can feel the air pressure in my ears which was as if I am in a plane. We had our first stopover in a bridge where people usually take pictures.

As you can see, there is another uphill at my back. I got this picture quick in fear that there will be vehicles passing.

From this place, we spent almost an hour in going to our destination which was the Ayuste Nature Park. Ayuste Nature Park was an almost 20-30 minute ride from the main road and the road is not concrete anymore. You can pass other sea of cloud resorts before you can reach there. That time it was rainy and the road was muddy.

Finally we reached the place and enjoyed the sceneries.

Ayuste built some landmarks where you can take pictures with that view at the back. That time, we were not able to view sea of clouds nearby. It was very nice to look on banana plantation and the green plants. Such a view!

Aside from the view, the park has variety of plants that one could take pictures. There were also rooms available for accommodating guests. We want to bring our kids there but, we were worried that it might not be safe for them because one mistake, they can roll down in the mountain. Well, you know I am also an overthinker at times.

Ayuste also have a restaurant that we ordered food. The food was good as well. I was not able to keep pictures of the food.

Overall, our travel was a new experience. We enjoyed a new view, a new place and the company of each other. As I always share, it is also important for couples to have time with each other even if we have kids already. This way, the bond will be more strengthened and the relationship will be more stronger. Each couple needs a breather and needs time for each other. One thing, that me and my husband are in common is our love for travels. I still have a few in our previous travels, I will surely share here as time and situation permits.
