Happiness is like love which is a many splendored things... It's a multifaceted phenomenon... One is, it could be personal which is based on what you are as a person. So the introvert is content to be alone, he enjoys being in solitude whereas the extrovert does not. Another is it's based on your needs, wants or desires, as well as your security, health, wealth, dignity or honor, on your relationships, career, status or power and a variety of other factors. In a nutshell, happiness has to be based upon something... However, we are unaware that this kind of happiness is only shallow. It's not permanent. It's not long term. It isn't sustainable in the long run. And, in the end, we're still left with a sense of emptiness...😌 That is why, in his quest for happiness, man has devised a plethora of theories and studies, but found not the answer.😟 Solomon, the wisest King has been right when he wrote in the book of Ecclesiastes that all things is vanity under heaven...
