A fungus on a dead tree. The sun had peeked theough the dark clouds this morning although it’s still drizzling. I hope it’ll be sunny today! December 30th, we the Filipinos commemorate the death of our national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal. He wrote various novels that tackled the maltreatments of the Spanish government and the corrupt practices of the church. He ignited the fire in the hearts of the Filipinos that led to our independence from Spanish colonizers for more than 300 years.
