Did you know about Cross hatching drawing?

Today i am going to share another art piece of mine in which i used to draw by using cross hatching technique of drawing.

What is cross hatching?

Cross hatching is the technique of drawing in which we use lines to create depth and shading. We use only lines in this techniques with different weight, like dark and light lines to show lights and shadows.

Types of Hatching:

• Hatching: In this we use parallel lines in one direction to show shadows and lights.

• Cross hatching: In this we use cross lines that overlap to each other to show shadows and lights.

Where we can use this technique?

We can use this technique to draw portraits, landscapes and still life objects.
