Hi. This is a devotional that I wanted to share with you all.
(Galatians 5:7-10 NLT)
Galatians 5:7 NASB "You were running well; who hindered you from obeying the truth?"
8 "It is not God who has caused you to stop. No! God is the one who has chosen you to serve him.''
9 "People say this: ‘Only a small amount of yeast in the flour will cause a loaf of bread to grow big.’'
10 "I am trusting the Lord to keep you from believing false teachings. God will judge that person, whoever he is, who has been confusing you."
WHAT THINGS THAT HINDERED US TO FINISH OUR RACE WELL?
- is it your fears on certain things?
- is it the problems you encounter in this season?
- is it your 'what ifs' that leads you to doubt in God promises to you?
- is it our pride and disobedience, feeding our own desires over God's will?
Sin is like a small amount of yeast in the flour, if we let it in, our whole body will be affected.
God already bought us from slavery. It is priceless. Do not let this world dictates us what we need to feel, what we need to react on things, rather walk by faith and not by sight.
Our identity is not is this world. It found in God. We are conqueror. We will finish our race well and let no things in this world hindered us to do what is right in the sight of God.
Galatians 5:13 ERV
"My brothers and sisters, God chose you to be free. But don’t use your freedom as an excuse to do what pleases your sinful selves. Instead, serve each other with love."
Let's obey the truth that ONLY in God can be found rather than what the world feeds us.
It's not too late to run our race 'again'
