Offer retracted: I have another use for 0.39BCH. Haven't moved it yet, tho..

Hokay.. So I think I need to learn to use SLP on BCH for provenancing.

Here is a test post on OpenSea (since removed)

It is a Honey Pot, to see if/when the private key gets swiped off the supposedly locked meta-data. And a kind of fun way of exchanging BCH for Eth. If you want to put some more honey in the pot, it is at:

bitcoincash:qp5y0fzyeexc0q8t73s7xt5cz72rnwc8uv9yx5krk9

Serious provenance

How to convey ownership of my digital asset? Simple, right? Hash it, or even encrypt it and hand out the key. But.. eventually it will make it out into the wild. If it is worth anything. Which is sort of the point.

Secure metadata

Is it??? It is not on the block-chain. And, with this particular site I do not know, yet, exactly how they manage their meta-data. They say it is unlocked by the owner, but the field size is too big for on-chain. I would be much happier to put my check-sum or key to the data into fields in the contract, immutable. You could even drop it into the metadata URI that is immortalized on the block-chain: URI?sha256check-result

check-sum in URI, got it.. don't even have to modify their boiler-plate contract... except.. don't have access to their contract generation scripts either.

Someone (no names) has pointed out they can change at least their own meta-data AFTER THE TOKEN IS SOLD. So this is or will be an issue.
