Let me explain this more. All living things* emit shit. The wildly successful seem to have found other things that love their shit, that benefit greatly from the effluent of the successful creature. eg, elephants and their eco-system. Buffalo and theirs.
Yes, blockchain tech consumes power. We need to own up to that. But even the 'wasting' of power can be made useful in ways no other industry can match.
