dance along the elliptic curve
See where we got off.
Tangent, intersect, tangent, intersect..
When does it end? N?
God made the integers, all else is the work of Man??
Isn't that backwards?
Isn't it that God made reality, infinitely divisible, ineffable to the limits of perception? It is Man who started counting things.
Regardless, the first vision that comes to mind of an elliptic curve is a shape on a graph. But in the ECDSA numbered space, I heard, at the root of it, is something like a large (I mean, really large [but finite]) number of points in space, and the Tangent-intersect operation is a bit removed from simple draftmanship.
This point in time and space jumps to some other point, and that to another, and another. But no way to go back to where you were.
How did we get here? Nobody knows. Where are we going? That's pretty clear.
