Thankfully It's No Big Deal August 31, 2021 *It's actually the first draft of my article I published last time entitled "Midnight Intruder". Hope you all still gonna spend time reading it.* I am already feed up with all the horrible news I've read in social medias. I've read stories like members of cult knocking at houses in the middle of the night and makes people fall into deep sleep after reciting some evil rituals. I've also read news where armed men mercilessly rained houses with bullets and a serial killer intruding houses holding a knife. I feel scared really reading the kind of stories even though I know that some of this stories might all just made up. I turned off my phone and decided to fall asleep already. I think it's already past two o'clock in the morning when I am awaken from my sleep. I am so damn afraid to get up and to reached out for my cellphone placed above the table beside our bed. I just walk up from a long bad dream. I don't know what it is but I heard something I cannot clearly distinguish. At first it seems like someone is climbing the roof of our neighbor because I heard noises coming from the roof. I ought to confirm what it is through peeking at our window when all of a sudden I remember those things I've read in social medias. I felt scared so I didn't do it instead. Who would have climb the roof in the middle of the night. I want to open the lights but I am afraid. So I stay still in my bed pretended to be asleep. I want to close my eyes but the sound still there. A lot of negativities rush up on my mind. Suddenly I heard dogs howling from the distant- until it comes nearer, nearer to our house. It seems like their barking towards someone. Because of a lot of bad news and stories I read on my social medias my mind automatically conclude that there must be some evil outside. I listened intently outside and I heard footsteps. It's a footsteps from a stranger circling our house. Who would have still awake at this hours. I am already shivering with all the the things running in my mind. What if it's really a bad person, what if he'll gonna harm us. Even though I really want to get up I didn't do it. I started to feel paranoid. It seems like I've heard knife rub on the surface of our house just like in the movie I have seen recently. And it seems also that I've heard gun outside aiming our house ready to rain us with bullets. But I'm still sane to convince myself it's only in my mind. I know my mom and dad even if it's in the middle of the night when they heard noises even if it just a simple scratch they will be surely awaken. But what makes me confused is that they are in deep sleep now. What came up in my mind is that maybe evils outside are doing some rituals so that everyone in the house will be in deep sleep. I saw flashlight directing towards our house. Who would have do that? So this is how it feels when an unknown is about to intrude your house. The feeling is horrible I shivers all over my body. I feel like my feet literary got frozen. I want to hug my sister but I don't want to disturbed her and get awaken. If there's evil outside let just make the night pass and let the stranger outside continue what he's doing and let just checked tomorrow if there's something peculiar in the surroundings. All I want at that very moment is to see the morning sunshine already. I listened again outside and I heard someone is entering our house with a flashlight. Who was it, he goes in at the front door. Oh no, I want to recognize if its just my father but I didn't heard anything my fears goes to its highest level. What is he doing inside our house. He opened our faucets and drink some water. I could tell his thirsty cause I heard him gurgle. However, that's when I feel calm a little bit cause if its a bad person will he still have the time to drink in our faucet. I conclude that it might be my father. But another negativities came across my mind what if it's not really my dad. I still felt so scared. To make me feel calm I prayed "Our Father" repeatedly. Eventually I have come to my senses. I am becoming unrealistic again. It is due to too much indulgence to social medias. I've come to realize that theirs no evil outside it just my father. I am just overreacting. For some reason I haven't noticed that I able to go back asleep again. The next morning I asked my father if he got awake last night because I heard some noises. I said "Is that you Father?" "No, it's the cat entered our house trying to open our food in the pot", my father answered. *Sometimes even if there's really nothing wrong we tend overreact. Too much dwelling with our social medias adds up to our negativity. Like me, I spent too much watching toxic and fake news on social medias that affects me greatly.*

Indeed it's a roller coaster ride My life nowadays has become a roller coaster ride, so many ups and down so many weakening and terrifying moments. People surrounding me might think that all just went so fine. But they didn't know the chaos that's happening inside my head and inside my heart. Staying optimistic is hard becoming enthusiastic is difficult. I'm trying to stay sane amidst the so many not so good situation. However, I just feel like the passion and the hopeful spirit of mine is now a memory in the past. I'm disappointed on how pessimist I become.

Twenty Last night I've watched this 2015 South Korean movie entitled Twenty. I do have fun watching the movie since it is a coming-of-age film which I could actually relate. The story of the film evolved to the life of three best friends namely Chi-ho, Kyung-jae and Dong-woo who have just graduated high school and turned 20. Personally I do really love watching korean movies for the reason that they able to portrays some issues in the society in a very entertaining way. In the film Twenty, it somehow touches some issues that young individuals encounter when they reach the age of 20. At this age significant changes happened-physical, psychological and moral growth. It is in this age where the transition from youth to adulthood start. Being in this age is sometimes very overwhelming because you can't clearly understand your rule in the society. You feel like your already adult but at the same time a child. An adult in the sense that you already need to be responsible enough with all your decisions but a child as well because there's still a lot of things that you need to know. Being in 20's you started to realize that the reality of life is not like eating a cotton candy- sweet, fun and easy. You now experience more ups and down of life. What you and the world become 10 years from now will just come across your mind with a little fear. You now realize that there's still so much more after you graduated in high school/college. It's now you need to decide which path would you like to take for your future life. Back to the film, the three best friends chooses different path. Chi-ho choose not to proceed in college and prioritize dating and chasing women. In the other hand, Kyung-jae chooses to enrolled to a business school since his goal is to get accepted at a corporate job. And lastly, Dong-woo dreams to becoming cartoonist but when his family go bankrupt he become the breadwinner and forced to get several part-time job. That somehow reflects most of the young adult in the society. Some are privileged to be able to choose and get the path they really want to take but the problem is they take the wrong one. Some are privileged to choose and get the right path but ofcourse challenges can't be avoided. Moreover, there are some who are not so privileged and are having a hard time in getting the path they really want to take and force to divert to another path due to some circumstances in life. Growing and learning is part of life. Challenges and changes are all part of growing up. As a young adult, I've come to realized a lot of things. Back when I was a kid I used to imagined things about what would I become when I grow up. And now I come to this age. "Life never get easier this days" I always caught myself saying that word to myself now. "Guess growing up is never that easy" I heard that from a song and for some reason it hit me. However, no matter what I somehow learned to teach myself that life is not a puzzle to solve but a journey to take. Many challenges might come on our way. But with faith to yourself and to God that everything will be alright soon that's where I get my strength and inspiration to be able to go on and prepared myself to what's still waiting ahead. Thank you for reading 😊

The Midnight Intruder What time it is I could not tell but one thing is for sure everyone is already in deep sleep at this hour. I want to stretch my arms to reached for my cellphone placed just above the table beside our bed of my sister, but my shivering body refused to do that. I just woke up from a long bad dream. I listen through the night, it was peaceful at first until I heard noises outside. It seems like someone is climbing the roof of our neighbor but no it's also seems like someone is climbing the roof of our house. I want to confirm it through peeking at our window but my courage is weak. Who would have climb the roof of our neighbor in the middle of the night. Though afraid of the noises I heard outside I stay in my bed pretended to be asleep. However, no matter how I tried to close my eyes I cannot trick myself from not getting bothered with all the sounds I heard outside. A lot of negativities come up in my mind. Suddenly I heard dogs howling from our neighborhood. It seems like their barking towards someone. I heard commotion outside. Footsteps, I also heard footsteps. It seems like someone is circling our house. From this moment I already want to get up and checked what's going on. I see ray of light directing towards our house. Who would have do that. So this is how it feels when an unknown is about to intrude your house. The feeling is horrible. I feel like my legs and feet go stiff. If there's evil outside what should I do and what would he do to us. All I can do now is to keep calm, let the night pass and not intervene that someone outside. Let him continue what he's doing and let him get whatever he want in our house I'll just pretend I'm sound asleep. However even though I keep convincing myself to stay calm, when I heard the intruder is already able to get inside our house with a flashlight I can't help myself from getting paranoid. Who was it, he get in through the front door of our house. Oh no, I feel like my fears goes to its highest level. What is he doing inside our house. I listened to every move he make and I heard he open the faucets. Did he just drink some water from our faucet? A lot of negativities came up in my mind. I cannot imagine myself to be in a situation like what we've seen in the movie where you need to fight to a culprit in order to survive. In order to lessen the terror I felt I prayed "Our Father" repeatedly until I get calm. Slowly for some reason I come to my senses that maybe it is just my father who have just got home from his work. I'll just confirm it the next morning. After a while I haven't noticed that I manage myself to be back at sleep. The next morning I asked my father if he's the one who entered our house at midnight. I told him that I heard noises last night and asked him "Is that you Father?". He didn't answered my question directly but he said, "I saw a huge cat intrude our house last night trying to open our food in the pot. I follow the cat outside but it was so clever. I don't know who's cat it is but it has necklace on his neck." -end

I broke up with him because I like him He's cute, tall, fair and handsome. I've met him through a common friend back when I'm still in college. He's kind too, in another words he is my type. However, because he is too good to be true to like someone like me I've waited a month before I gave to him my sweet "yes" to become his girlfriend. *Have you still remember the first time you fall in love with a guy? I bet the feeling is new. Suddenly, love quotes no longer just a mere words that gathered together to form a sentence but a statement that conveys a meaning that you can now actually relate. Love song is no longer just words accompanied by a beautiful rhythm but already a real story of someone who's in love that somewhat you can already understand. For the first time you started getting conscious of how you look and compared yourself to other beautiful girls passing by*. That time I answered him I got so inspired. My smile is up to the moon everytime I heard the sudden beep of my phone cause I am sure it was him who texted or chatted me. And I feel an unexplainable happiness everytime his close to me. However, that kind of feeling didn't last long. Out of nowhere he suddenly texted me that we need to talk. I am bewildered because the weather is so fine and I thought we are as fine as that too. But I was wrong he told me he likes another woman. Without having anything to say I just broke up with him and by just like that we have ended our relationship. Looking back I've realized the reason why it's very easy for me to break up with him and that's because I just *like* him but not really *love* him. There's a big difference between liking and loving someone. For me liking someone is just the beginning of loving someone romantically. What is love? Someone said, *"love is a temporary insanity curable by marriage"*. Well, I find that quotes funny to hear but definitely true because when you truly, deeply and madly in love you crazily don't want to lose that man or woman. And to show to others that he/she is already owned by you, you just want to keep him/her right away through marriage. There once a time that I am listening to a program in the radio, the Dj jokingly said that he don't believe at love at first sight because if its true why is that there's a saying that says love is blind. Well, anyways if you're gonna ask me what is love, for me it's as simple as love is love. *In merriam Dictionary*, love is defined as a ***strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties.*** For me love comes when you deeply known each other but still comfortable of each other companions even with each other's flaws and imperfections. You cannot say that that someone is truly in love with you when he only **want you at your best but never at your worse.** That's the reason why I don't buy boys who suddenly tell you "I love you", even though you are not that close yet. For me the first stage of love is acquintance and the moment you find something attractive and amusing with him/her that's when you feel infatuated, which is for me the second stage of love. However, some boys when they get infatuated with a girl they immediately approach her. Well there's nothing wrong of approaching her but what happens sometimes is its very quick like the whirl of the wind they immediately courted the girl saying they're in love with her. Like seriously? I agree when the radio Dj said that there's no such thing like love at first sight, ***like at first sight*** it could be more agreeable but love at first sight no. The amusement and affection that only your eyes see is not love it's infatuation. But the desires and the longing that your heart feel as time passes by as you've known each other is for me what love is. That's why I prefer a man who want to become a good friend of mine before he will court me to become her girlfriend than a boy who court me immediately even if it's our first time to meet each other. Because for me the best way to measure how much the guy would love me is through knowing me by him as his friend. Thank you for reading ❤️😊

Can't fall Asleep *Time check: 12:08 AM.* I wonder if there's somewhere out there whose like me right now, still wide awake for no reason. I'm not a call center agent having night shift nor a nocturnal creature feeding at night. I'm not a vampire as well but here I am still wide awake. I don't know but I just can't fall asleep. I am a little bit worried because I have read an article that you should always follow your body clock. When you're sleepy at 9:00 in the evening, you better go at your bed at that hour already. Why? it's because that's what your body telling you and the most natural for you. But what usually happen is that, because of social media you tend to delayed your time for sleep. Even if you're already sleepy at that certain time you ignore it and still continue scrolling your phone. But you know what it's not only destroying your body clock but also your health as well. That's the reason why the next time you want to sleep early you can't easily do that already because your body get confused of what schedule your eyes should be sleepy. You're body want you to already sleep at 9:00 but you didn't listen so they rescheduled your rest time later than 9:00 but still you didn't listened and keeps on changing until your body just don't want you to fall asleep🤣. I've also heard I forgot where it is that sleeping before 12 midnight is actually good to boost your immune system. I don't know how true it is but I've heard that the most advisable time for you to sleep is before midnight. They said that there's a study that can prove that, given the fact that our body is actually design to sleep at night and awake at daylight. *Hmmmm.... would you believe that?* But even with all of that still I can't convince myself now to fall asleep already. Maybe an admirer is thinking of me right now because I've also heard that when you can't easily fall at sleep at night someone is thinking of you 🥰. So I just assumed that someone is thinking of me right now. However, I've also heard that you must be careful when out of nowhere you suddenly awake from your long sleep at dawn like 2:00-4:00 in the morning because they said that a ghost is staring at you while you are sleeping so that's why you feel uncomfortable and awaken😲. *Again, I don't how true it is🤷*. Disclaimer: Everything I've shared is based only to what I've heard and read. You can asked Mr. Google to know if that's really true 😁😁😁 Sleep tight everyone ☺️

When I Discovered Baryo Kalabyerno *Hello there. How are you guys? Me? well here I am still can't think of any decent article hehehehe😅. Well anyways, I just found myself right now writing a story about one of my weird dream.* **Just a friendly reminder:** *You might find the event of my dream boring and nonsense but please bare with me. Don't ask me why I still got a gut to share it with you when it's no especial, I just really want to share it with you. Enjoy Reading, heheh 😁* >>>I took a long deep breathed as I climbed the steep mountain not too far from our place. It was already dusk. The sounds of the crickets coming from nowhere gives me some unpleasant feeling. I hurried my way though I didn't know where I was heading. I look around but the surrounding was already dark. I searched and searched for anything my eyes can see but it was too dim until I saw a small opening of a cave in the middle of the dense forest. I entered the small way though I didn't know why I made my way through that little hollowed-out place. It was dark inside the cave and the stone was wet and cold. Nevertheless, I am still determined to continue entering the cave. I carefully step my bare foot to the slippy ground of the cave. Though not sure where I was heading still I gathered all my courage and went on with my journey until I saw something in the dark. I saw huge pipes. Those pipes you'll usually see laid underground to transport water from dam. It's really strange cause the place was dark but for some reason I could clearly see the pipes, its was rusty and black; network and gathered together like snake mound above the others. I don't understand but what came up first to my mind as I gazed on the pipeline was that it was used to transport drinkable water from a certain source to a certain place. It gives me an idea that there must be households not too far from this cave. I keep going thinking at the end of the cave there must be other people living. I am about to take another stride when I heard people talking. I followed where the conversations came from. I hurried and stumbled so many times groping in the dark before I finally found the owner of the voices. I saw two young people, same age like mine. I can't clearly see their faces but I am sure it's a guy and a woman. "Hey, we've waited for you here about an hour already, what takes you so long?", the guy asked me with a concerned voice. *"They have waited for me already for an hour, but why? How did they know I was coming? These people surely know me."* "I found some hard time making my way here inside the cave so that's why. By the way I saw huge pipes over there, I wonder what are those used to?". Again, I don't know these people but still I talked to them unafraid. "Well it's used to transport water supply to our barangay", the woman interrupted. "Our barangay?", I asked them full of confusion. But they don't answer me. FF. Though I am confused, still I joined the three to where they're going anyways they seems nice. I couldn't clearly see they're faces but looking at the silhouette of the guy beside me, I can tell his handsome and that he have a nice body build. Biceps... triceps... and...six pack... I can't see it but I am sure he have😁. While the woman in the other hand has a model like body, sexy and tall with a long black hair. FF. My journey went on. By just a snap of a finger we suddenly arrived in a small area where people busy doing their work. *"What happened? We're still at the cave a while ago but why now we're already arrived in another place."* I keep on walking beside the guy and the woman I've met in the cave. I look around and saw groups of people holding long needles and a little human figured doll. *"What are these people doing?"* I keep on looking around until I saw a signage that says, "Welcome to baryo Kalabyerno". *"Baryo Kalabyero? It's my first time hearing about the place."* FF. I've got goosebumps when suddenly the people there started staring at me like they're about to devour me. *Why on earth I have come to this place?* By observing and looking around I can tell that the people living there are no ordinary people. I feel so afraid. FF. Everything just went too fast. I thought I can pass by the crowded place full of peculiar people without any trouble when a woman with a long gray hair with a very long long nose smells that an ordinary human was intruding their place. I suddenly feel my heart beats fast. Without anything to do I run so fast away from the people there but they run after me. They want to get me. I am doomed. FF. I keep on running as fast as I could already taking a bath with sweat. I keep on running and running, my enemies was already behind me. I am so afraid, *my knight in shining armor where are you, please save me.* *Is this the end of my life?* Oh no, the old woman was already too close to me. This was so unfortunate of me, wasted my life in a place my family could never able to retrieve my body. I am about to lose hope when I heard someone's calling my name. He's concerned about me, he want to help. Oh my, is he already the savior of mine sent by a deity above. I look at my back. A man was behind me. He looks familiar. He's the guy I've met in the cave. He offered to me his hand and I am about to reached it when... I saw the ceiling of my room. I look at my side and saw my sister peacefully sleeping. It was at this moment I've realize it was all a nightmare. P.S. After I learned that I'm just having a nightmare I forced myself to go back to sleep and continue my love story with the guy I've met in the cave. I don't care if I am doomed with the witches but unfortunately I failed to resume my dream. I just open my eyes still thinking about the guy. 🤣 Thank you once again for reading 😊

@Mimosa08

Journey to the Spring “Hey, let’s go home it looks like a heavy rain is coming!”, I desperately called my two brothers but they can't hear me it's as if some enchanted fairies charmed them to continue climbing the jackfruit tree. Out of frustration I decided to turned myself into a stone. Hello there! I'm back again. As I've told you already I'm not really good at writing but still I want to give it a try hehehe. This time I'll gonna share to you one of my memorable childhood experienced back when my two brothers made me turned myself into a stone. Enjoy reading 😁 Every summer, when the Sun was so proud of himself to bring out all his hotness into the world in its maximum level, our Barangay experienced drought and shortage of water supply. Our barangay was just a small community back then with only few houses standing but still the water supply was not enough especially in sunny season. Since we were living in a mountainside, still we're grateful and lucky because natural springs were accessible. If your not familiar with a spring it is a water coming from the ground. Back then, when not a single drop of water was coming out in our faucet our mother used to asked us with my two brothers to fetched some drinkable water from the spring not too far from our house. Please don't be confused, the water that comes out from our faucet still comes from a spring, but the water from that certain spring is so strong and abundant that it can supply each household of our Barangay. However, when drought came the water level in that spring reached bottom that is why we need to look for another spring that's still flowing. Patiently and industriously we walked a miles away in order to arrived at the spring where the water is still present. You can surely relate if you’re in a Barangay such as ours. Our house is located at the top of a plain wide hill. You need to come down from that hill before you can find some small springs. By the way, I forgot to mentioned that our spring has it names. The spring I've told you earlier that supply our barangay was named "Pagsa". The first spring found not too far from our house was named "ka-Olipyo nga tabay" (in bisaya dialect it means spring of Olipyo, since the spring was located in the land of Olipyo). Olipyo is actually the named of my grandfather. From the spring of my *lolo* or grandfather you can find another spring named "ka-Piya", named after a woman who used to lived near there. There's still a lot of other springs that can be found in our place with its name but it just I can't mentioned it all. It was a hot sunny afternoon. Mother looks exhausted as she gets the empty water jar. She called my name and at that moment I exactly knew she'll gonna asked me together with my two brothers to fetched water we can drink from the spring *ubos sa amua* (*ubos* means below while *amua* means our). We're both too little back then but our mother already trusted us with that kind of errand. I am eight years old that time while my older brother was ten and my brother next to me was seven. We go down first to the spring of my *lolo*. But the spring there was already run out of water. So we just decided to go to another spring. As we arrived at the "ka-piya" the water there was not enough too and no longer advisable to consumed. So we just passed by again that spring and decided to go to another spring. We still have another spring left to go named "ka-melchor"; named after the owner of the land where it is located. However, an eight year old me back then was not used of going to that place. It's already way too far. Before we can go there, we need to pass through a very narrow bridge. The bridge was short and made out only of four logs place together above a stream. As I walk through the bridge I'm a little bit nervous because I am afraid I might fall. After the bridge we still need to pass through a very narrow path that only single person can pass through. The path was sorrounded with tall grasses that equal my height. After passing through the dense path, you'll need to come down in a very steep path. You really need to be careful while you walk to avoid getting stumble. While walking I just imagined Dora the explorer's face. She's surely got impressed coming with us towards the spring. Lively, she will gonna open her map and lively point out which location will gonna go next hahaha. Well anyways, after the steep road is a dry river. You need to pass through that river, though it was run out of water you still need to be careful because it was slippery. A leech was also used to live there too and I'm sure there's still few alive that's why be careful not to get one or else it will stick to your skin and suck your blood. You won't noticed the leech that already sucking you unless you feel itchy and sting to the part where it stick. I carefully made my stride above the stone found in the empty river. I grasped some breath because finally we almost reach our destination. In every step I take I always made sure that no venomous snakes was on my way. There’s also a lot of different kind of grasses and trees that you can see as you journey towards the spring, so many that I cannot mentioned all. That's the reasoned why everytime I come down to fetched water I always wear long pajamas so that the grasses like *kugon* grass don’t touch my skin, for you know it's kind of itchy. You can also hear and see different kind of birds that perch on the branches of the trees; small, big, blue, yellow, skyblue, brown and even black bird it was there. You can also passed by different kinds of worms that comes in different sizes, small hairy caterpillar, big hairy caterpillar, centipede, millipedes and earthworm. But what really makes me most afraid was not the snakes, the worm neither the leech that sucked blood it was the creature named "*wakwak*". A little girl like me back then do really believed in that mythological creature. They said, that fearsome creature is a half human with a very huge black wings that is similar to that of the bat. Her lips is black and her glaring eyes is black too. You would know when she's around. When she's far from you, you can hear her loud wak (wak is what they said the sound she produce). But when she's near, you can only hear her frail wak. So you do really need to be careful because she's very tricky. They also said that she loved to feed on children's kidney and liver. As we walked through the forest, I enjoyed hearing the chirps of the birds, until my older brother said he heard a very eerie sound. He said he heard the sound of the *wakwak*, I’m not sure if he was just joking but whatever it was I am super afraid. Just the thought of the face of the *wakwak* running with us was so already frightening. But ofcourse, I pretended to be cool. I didn’t showed my two brothers my fears. I followed my two siblings like nothing had bothered me because knowing this two they will just scares me more if they know I am afraid. Alas! after a thousand walked we already arrived safely to the spring "ka-melchor". I checked my skin no rushes, I checked my feet no leche sucking and I touch my tummy; kidneys and liver were still intact. "Oh, what a relief", I sighed. As we arrived near the spring we took a little rest first before we started putting our small container to the mouth of the bamboo. The bamboo was used to be the way of the water from the spring, it is also used to make the access of the water easy to the fetcher. When all our containers was full we carefully and tightly covered it not to get contaminated and wasted as we journey again back home. The weather was very hot that day when suddenly I heard a very loud boom from the sky. I heard thunder. I jolted by the loud explosion. But my two brothers didn’t mind it. They still looks happy, they still even laughing. No marks of fear or anything in fact they're having fun when they heard the thunder while me on the other side was already so damn afraid. The sorroundings go back to its peacefulness after the thunder made sound from the sky. The only voices you can hear was the laughter of my ten year old brother and the jokes of my seven year old younger brother. At that time I started getting annoyed with my two siblings because they're so stubborn and naughty. I just kept following and observing them. I wonder how these two maintained their energy from all the walked we have already took plus the fact that each one of us was carrying two heavy containers full of water. They walked like they never know how to get tired and they keep seeing things out of nowhere. Like I'm just looking at their back when suddenly they shouted "Look, there's a lot of guava here". "Look there's a *kokok* (a big black bird) over there!". And then they would started making plans like some real hunters with superpower. I just frowned hearing their plans because all I want at that very moment was to go home already. My younger brother said, "big bro let's go over there I saw a nest there let see if it has egg". So I got no choice but to follow my brothers to the thickets. And when we're already under the tall bushes we have seen neither nest nor egg. These were the reasons why I hate being with them. Tiny little girl like me back then was not really a fan of adventure in the forest. As we keep on walking, the sky seems not impressed too with my two brothers for disturbing the peaceful forest. The sky started gathering its thick dark cloud together. Looking at the sky I am pretty sure it will rain, a heavy rain. I am about to complained to my two brothers to hurry our way home when not too far from where we standing we saw a Jackfruit tree. They was so enticed by the figure of the tree and started to approached it. I just frowned when I saw my older brother started climbing the tree. “Hey, let’s go home it looks like a heavy rain is coming!”, I desperately called my two brothers but they can't hear me it's as if some enchanted fairies charmed them to continue climbing the jackfruit tree. Out of frustration I decided to turned myself into a stone. Yes, into a stone. Since they don't listened to me, I decided to sit on the ground. I didn't move like a stone. I bend my head just enough to reach my knees. I keep silent there and waited for them forever. In my mind I am already so damn afraid. What if it will surely rain so heavy that would cause flood to the dry river. What if a lightning will hit us. I already got so paranoid with the thought. I remembered what our mother used to warned us, not going to rivers because sometimes it suddenly go big. After a few minutes I gathered all my courage to scold my two brother to hurry up but these two seems like no ear. From the moment they saw the jackfruit tree they goes deaf and can hear nothing. The sky was already so dark. And not so long from now it will surely rain. The two had started climbing the branches of the jackfruit tree. If my mother was just there these two would surely got scolded louder than all the thunder gathered together. I am already thinking of leaving the two but I'm just too damn afraid going home alone. If not worm, leech, wakwak or flood, I might met a stranger on my way that will kidnap me and get all my intestines. No, I can’t lose my precious life by that so I just patiently wait for them. Since I don’t know how to climbed the jackfruit tree I just patiently waited for them below. I keep praying that the rain won’t come. While the two singing at the branch of the jackfruit tree, I just watched them below. They’re laughing, joking and singing. I pictured them like birds perching and chirping from one branch to another. And me sitting below pictured myself as a hunter ready to shoot these two. To save the day and my two brothers from danger. I started singing a hillsong I heard from the church; *All that I am,* *All that I have* *I lay them down before you oh, lord...* *And now let the weak say I am strong,* *Let the poor say I am rich,* *Because of what the lord have done for us...* *Give thanks...* Though I am not sure if I am singing the right lyrics still I sang it wholeheartedly, I dedicated it to the God Almighty that no danger would happened to us. Fast forward. I forgot how long it already took but I feel delighted when I have seen the sky slowly turning bright. And what makes me more delighted was that my two brothers got already worn-out with their mischievousness and finally decided to end up their expedition on the jackfruit tree. At that moment the first thing that entered my mind is that God hears my prayer. Peacefully we walked together to go back to our home. And from that experienced my little brain have realized something that everything will just pass by. When you’re very worried at a certain moment, for whatever reason it is wether small or big, serious or not, true or just in mere imagination, everything is just temporary and will just pass by. Just don’t forget to asked guidance from up above. This childhood memories of mine is so precious and unforgettable. That’s the first time I have known as far as my mind can remembered that God is always with me all the time. When we arrived home that day our mother asked as what takes us so long. My brother just answered so confidently and proud, "The spring was indeed too far mother. In fact, we hurry our way home but still it takes us long to finally arrived home". Not to make the story long I just listened to my two naughty brothers and agree with them while talking to our mother. -End Thanks a lot for reading 😊

A Little Peek about Myself Hello dear, I am now planning to start my very first article here at readcash but obviously I haven't any idea yet on how should I start. So I just decided to share with you a little peek about myself. I must start it with an introduction. So here it is, Good day everyone! I am your pretty writer Mimosa08. I am not too young not too old just in my early twenties you know just in the right age to look for a lifetime lover lol. My cousin had already introduces me to this platform two months ago but since I have some works that I need to prioritize I haven't register yet not until 2 days ago. I am a kind of excited the first time I heard about this platform (because I've heard you can earned real money here with only words as your investment hahaha, sponsors beke nemen hehehe). But ofcourse it's not all about the cash, I am also also fond of reading articles especially those articles where you can get a lot of insights and entertainments. I also love reading other's sentiments, ideas and thoughts. I'm not really good at writing but little did other's know writing is one of my way to express myself whenever I feel like no one is listening to me. In fact, I have this hobby of jotting down random things and feelings at the back of my notebook whenever I'm not in my mood or I'm just bored. Writing about myself in a blank page also makes me feel like I am pouring my emotions towards someone who will never gonna judge me. It makes me feel like the blank page is someone more than willing to listened to me whenever I feel bad. I'm not bragging but I have already confess a lot of secrets to my friend blank page. Moreover, writing also helps me organize my thoughts and identify the things that gets me frustrated and mad. As for my work, three months ago I've received a very beautiful gift from God and that is being hired as a permanent High School Teacher. Being a newbie to the said profession is very challenging to me since I need to adjust to a lot of things, from my colleagues until to the reports that I need to accomplished. When I was a kid I used to think that I'm a weird person because I am so shy and quiet. If you don't talk to me first then I won't talk to you as well. I always hate that side of mine. Going out and being comfortable communicating with people was very hard for me. There's even a time before when I feel like nobodies like me. So not to feel rejected I distance myself first to people before they distance themselves from me. I even got horrible nightmares where my close friends and neighbors got so mad at me and canceled me in their life like they stop talking to me and start hating me. When I wake up the next morning I just found myself wiping my own tears. Looking back I came to realize it's only in my mind. It just me thinking so negative that I even carry it to my dreams. I've realize it's not them who outcast me but me who cast out them in my life. Who would like to befriend with someone whose always displaying her long pessimist face right?There are remnants from the past, the pictures I've got when I'm still a kid. As I stare now at my pictures back then I've noticed that not even a single picture where you can see me smile. I always look sad in my pictures and it's not all because I am shy with the camera but because I just hated myself back then. When I came in college I've learned things I've never learned before. I stop thinking super negative to myself. I have learned that I'm not totally weird. I have learned that I am not the only one in this world who feel awkward sometimes interacting with people. I have learned in our psychology class that there are just different kinds of people and one of those is the introvert one. Sometimes enjoying being alone doesn't mean your weird. It just you finding some peace of mind. There just times I want a long "me time" and prefer small groups than large one. I don't know but most of the time I just feel comfortable having in a group with only few people involve than having in a large gatherings. But that doesn't mean I hate people. As for my favorites, I can only name few because of the reason that I'm actually the kind of person who's not loyal to her favorites. If my favorite actress today is Anne Curtis most probably the next month I have another fav. If my favorite kdrama now is "Legend of the Blue Sea" don't expect me to have the same favorite kdrama the next month. My favorites actually changing, my favorites are those that affects me the recent. Yeah I know you can tell that I am a very moody person. My mood change from time to time, sometimes I feel so down and the other times I am so hyper. My life like others has it ups and downs. Most of the times I covered my real feelings by being silent in the corner where nobody sees me. But it's okay not to be okay sometimes right? PS. I have still a lot to say about myself but I just can't disclose some other details for it so personal and confidential for me hehehe. I hope by this little sharing about myself you get a little idea of how am I as a person. Thank you for reading.
