Love: Do we or do we not have control over it?

I had an argument with someone about love. Although, the person was of the opinion that love is by choice but I was like "we do not have control over love."

Well to cut the long story short, I concluded in myself that love could be a little bit of both. I just feel that we may not have control over loving a particular person but we can also choose to stay with them despite their flaws.

I think that loving someone isn't our own doing but staying with them is. Just my thoughts anyway.

Would love to hear the opinion of others...

Love is a complicate emotions. Do you know love is not just a single emotions instead it is a combination of several emotions like Respect, Faith, Loyalty and etc. making it hard to control.

yes we dont have control when we are really falling inlove to someone but you could control your mind whenever you know if it is wrong or right. love moves in mysterious ways
