Waterfalls are important part in the rock cycle and the natural biisohere, it plays an important part in erosion and moving sediments. They can also wash down wastes.

Locals may be in need money and build tourist attractions arround such as shops, restaurants, hotels and roads. This causes pollution and litter etc. it also ruins the natural views and beauty around the waterfalls.
