Prevention of heart disease with heart is the theme of this year's World Heart Day. This slogan has a lot of significance in Corona. If not, blood clots form in the blood vessels, increasing the risk of death. Now people are being forced to go out of the house in search of livelihood. The risk of getting coronavirus is also increasing. That risk is even higher for heart patients. As many know, heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in the world. Every year, 31 percent of the world's deaths are due to various heart diseases. It is estimated that by 2030, 23 million people worldwide will die of heart disease. Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in Bangladesh.Due to geographical reasons, the risk of heart disease is higher in this region including Bangladesh and India than other countries. Because, people in our country smoke from a young age, eat more fatty foods. Many people in our country have little idea about which food is healthy and which is unhealthy. Again, due to geographical reasons, the height of the people in this country is low, but the abdomen is large, the coronary arteries (arteries) of their heart are narrow, which usually tends to close a little cholesterol. Corona has an increased risk of heart disease. The first patient to die of covid-19 disease in Bangladesh also had heart disease, with a ring inserted in the coronary artery of his heart. In addition, many more Kovid-19 patients who were suffering from blockage in the blood vessels of the heart, the consequences have been worse. Many newcomers have been diagnosed with diabetes and heart disease after coronary heart disease.Let's find out what kind of heart disease can be caused by coronavirus or what are the problems of those who are already suffering from heart disease.Coronavirus was previously thought to cause more damage to the lungs. Due to this, Kovid-19 patients have shortness of breath. But as it turned out, covid virus can damage heart muscle. One study found that one in five Covid-19 patients who died while on ventilator support had a heart attack. Our heart receives nutrition through coronary arteries. If fat accumulates in these coronary arteries and there is a partial blockage, the effect of the coronary artery can be 100% blocked and lead to heart attack. Cardiac arrest can even lead to death. These patients may also have chest pain with shortness of breath. However, if the patient has long-term uncontrolled diabetes, chest pain may not be present.A heart attack can be confirmed by testing the ECG and blood bio-markers called troponin I. Treatment is also easier if the heart attack can be detected at the right time. Type-1 myocardial infarction is associated with fat deposits in the blood, but covid-19 type-2 may be due to myocardial infarction, i.e. hypoxia or lack of oxygen. This is a different kind of heart attack.Myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart muscle. Myocarditis can be caused by injury to the heart muscle caused by coronavirus. Myocarditis is a condition of the heart from which the patient can recover completely, leading to serious complications and even death. Myocarditis can be detected by heart echocardiography and blood tests. There are two types of heart failure: Chronic heart failure, meaning that the patient's heart was already weak or the heart was functioning less than normal. In such patients, the size of the heart increases and the contraction-expansion capacity decreases.Acute heart failure can occur suddenly. Loss of the ability of the heart to contract and expand can lead to sudden onset of shortness of breath. Patients with chronic heart failure are at special risk due to coronary heart disease infection, and even a heart that has been well before can have sudden acute heart failure.
