In this post, I am talking about blogging sites where you can publish blog posts and make money.

Publishing on Read Cash to Earn Bitcoin Cash

I have been blogging on this site for a few months and I am really happy with my performance. Sometimes I can make $5 per day but normally I make $1-$2 per day. You earn from tips offered by other users.

Publish0X: Earn Tokens for Publishing Articles and Reading Articles

I joined this site but they did not approve my account. Later I discovered that if you join through a referral link, your account will be approved. On this site, you earn by reading other articles as well as tips on your articles.

Hive Blog: A Decentralized Blogging Platform to Earn Crypto Tokens

This blogging platform allows you to earn Hive Tokens, which can be cashed for fiat currency. Hive Blog is a blockchain-based writing platform that shares revenue with publishers. You can earn by publishing articles and also commenting on someone’s articles. Hive Blog is a part of Hive platform and rewards users for publishing articles and commenting on someone's articles. Hive Blog pays through Hive Token than can be exchanged with fiat currencies.be I don't know how beneficial is Hive Blog because I have never used it. I would have surely joined Hive Blog if I was not blogging on my self-hosted site. Since I have my own site that receives traffic and generates revenue, I never considered joining Hibe Blog. One of the main issues with using platforms like this one is you need to be very active in publishing, commenting, upvoting, following writers, and socializing in order to earn.

Medium: Earn from Views on Your Articles

Medium partner program is not globally available, however, if it is available in your country, you can earn from views on your articles.

Vocal: Blogging Platform Where YOu Earn Cash When Someone Reads Your Article

Just like Medium, Vocal reward program is also not globally available, if it is available in your location, you can earn when someone reads your content.

Hubpages: Earn From Publishing Articles

One of the oldest writing sits on the world wide web, which has been paying writers since 2007. One of the best passive income sources is publishing articles on sites that share revenue with its writers. For example, if you publish on Hubpages, medium, or vocal, you will earn passive income as long as your articles generate views. On hubpages, you earn from revenue generated by your article. Apart from sharing the revenue with hubpages, you can also earn 100 percent commission if you manage to sell Amazon affiliate products through your hubpages articles.

Blogging on Steemit to Make Money

I know Steemit even though I have never used this blogging platform. However, I am not sure if you can call it a decentralized blogging platform because steemit is operated by a private company, Decentralized means without a central authority and completely owned by a community. Steemit is owned by a private company (central authority), therefore, it is not exactly a decentralized blogging platform. I am also not sure if blogging on Steemit can be profitable because I don't hear anyone talking about steemit these days, however, a few years ago, it was considered one of the best blogging platforms not only to earn crypto tokens but also to earn money in general. Based on what I have read here I think Sigle.io can be a good platform to make money by blogging on a third-party platform (or decentralized blogging platform as you have called it). One of the major drawbacks of earning from third party blogging platforms is you need to socialize with the members to earn because your earnings will depend on the upvotes, tips, etc. If you don't upvote or tip other writers, you might not receive upvotes and tips, which means you have no chance of earning.

A couple of years ago, Steemit was very popular. A lot of people were joining the platform and a lot of people were also earning Steem tokens and wee exchanging tokens for fiat currencies. The platform was really good and people could earn from upvotes. If you wrote and publish good articles and if you were active users upvoting your fellow writers, you could earn really well. However, there was a slight problem with the site. The password you created while creating your account was unrecoverable. The passwords were just like the keys of your crypto wallets and you had to save the keys separately. If you lose your keys you cannot recover your wallet, and the same was the case with Steemit. A lot of people did not understand this while registering, therefore, they lost access to their accounts. Another problem with the site was earnings were dependent on upvotes and people were creating multiple accounts in order to manipulate upvotes. People were also upvoting every article they saw on the feed in a hope that they will be reciprocated with upvotes. This lead the site to tighten the rules which made earning impossible for normal users. These days we don't hear people talking about Steemit.
