Facebook has over 2.8 billion monthly active users. Monthly active users mean users who log into Facebook at least once a month. This is a huge number, you can reach a lot of people in many countries just in a few minutes of launching your marketing campaign. Facebook is a huge opportunity.

I use Facebook for digital marketing, I market my services as well as my web content. I make money by using Facebook but I am not using Facebook to make money directly. Instead, I market my services and when someone buys my services, I make money. I also make money when my web content gets traffic.

Building Followers on Facebook

Facebook has 2.8 billion users do not mean 2.8 billion people will see your products and buy your products. Your product will reach only the people who follow you or only the people you target your product. If you have 1k followers, your products will reach only 1k people.

Building 10 thousand followers on a Facebook page is not very difficult if you are willing to spend $10-$20 on facebook ads. Well, I did use Facebook advertising to build followers but I don’t have 10 K followers. I am also not into video content. But this is something I would like to try. More than 4.4 billion people use the internet. Imagine your reach when you are doing digital marketing. More than 2.8 people are active at least once a month on Facebook, imagine how many people you can reach by just advertising on Facebook. If you advertise in the highest selling newspaper, how many people can you reach, can you reach 1 billion people, that's not possible. How many people can you reach by advertising on TV, do they have 2.8 billion viewers, possibly not?

Advertising on Facebook

If you want to advertise your products, look no further than Facebook. If you have a Facebook page or a group with huge followers, you can advertise your products and easily generate sales. However, if you do not have too many followers, use Facebook ads and advertise your products. It is cheap yet very effective.

 Irrespective of your business niche and business type, in my opinion, Facebook is the best platform to market your business. Whether you are selling physical items, digital products, or selling services, Facebook makes it easy to reach customers. With more than 2 billion active users, Facebook has a wide reach. In fact, Facebook is the world's most visited site. By marketing on Facebook, you can reap the benefits of Facebook's global reach. You can do any kind of advertising on Facebook, for example, CPA, CPM, CPL, or CPV. Facebook marketing is also a lot cheaper than most advertising platforms. You can start your campaign for just $1. Since it does not cost much you can give it a try and see yourself.

Facebook Page/Group Monetization

If you have a huge following on your Facebook page, and if you have a lot of content with a lot of engagements. you can apply for monetization. If you are approved, you can run ads on your video or monetize your shared articles. I do not have monetized page but I would like to try this

Starting a Business on Facebook

Technically speaking you can start a business with no money. Let say you have an old laptop, an old phone, an old watch. You can put these items for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Since the products are in your possession and listing on facebook marketplace does not requirement, you will be able to launch your business with no money

Selling on Facebook Marketplace

You can sell on Facebook in two ways, one, you list your product on the Facebook marketplace, two, you sell from your page. Both of these selling methods cost money as you will have to pay money to run ads. You might have to spend a lot of money on ads before you can sell your products on Facebook.

Facebook does not have any support for buyers and sellers. If you are trying to sell through the Facebook marketplace, you need to take risks on your own, as they do not provide mediation or payment option. You will have to use the payment method of your own choice. Selling on eBay is better because eBay offers support for buyers and sellers, if you are cheated, you can even file a dispute. Amazon is a little better than eBay because Amazon also handles shipments. All you need to do is send your products to the Amazon warehouse and let amazon do everything for you.
