Micro job sites are the sites where you work on small tasks that do not take more than 5-10 minutes and earn you a few cents. To work on these sites, you don't need special. Some of the common tasks offered by microjob sites are watching videos, liking social media pages, blog post commenting, signing up on a website, visiting websites etc. These tasks are so simple that you do not need expertise and anyone can work. Some of the most popular microjob sites are: Sproutgigs, Microworkers, Rapidworkers, Jobboy, etc. The best thing about these sites is you can work immediately and there is no need to bid on job or sell your gigs like on freelancer sites and remote job sites.

Making Money From Small Jobs

I did not know that Timebucks was established in 2014 and is owned by LK international ltd of AL Jazeera AL Hamra, however, I know what kind of site this is. It is usually labeled as GPT site, or Get Paid To site. Gey paid to sites are the sites where registered users can do small tasks and earn a small amount. The small tasks include doing surveys, following social media accounts, registering on sites and apps, downloading and installing apps, playing games or watching videos, etc. Time bucks is not a great site to make money online, however, if you have just started working online do not know where to get started, you can try Time bucks, You get 50 cents as a sign up bonus and you will have to earn $9.5 more to reach the payment threshold. If you are based on high tier country, earning becomes easy because you can earn really well by participating on surveys, however, for the users based in lower tier country, earning is difficult. Time bucks also has referral program, if you refer users to the site and if they are active on the site, you will earn referral commissions from each task your referrals complete.

Micro Freelancing on SproutGigs:  Make Money By Offering Freelance Services

If you want to freelance, you could try Fiverr or Upwork, however, these platforms are very competitive. A newbie hardly gets a chance to sell his or her gigs or get accepted for jobs. You also need to be highly skilled and have a lot of experience on your niche. Therefore, trying a relatively newer platform can solve your predicament. SproutGigs is a new kid on the block.

What is SproutGigs?

SproutGigs, formerly called Picoworkers, is a freelancing platform where you can offer services like web designing, graphic designing, writing, marketing, etc. and make money when someone buys your gigs. Picoworkers was a very popular microjob site, and after adding freelancing feature on the platform, the platform rebranded to SproutGigs. However, you can still do microjobs and make money on SproutGigs . Since it is a new freelancing platform, it could be a better option for freelancing.

On SproutGigs, you can list all kinds of gigs, such as writing and translating articles, designing logos, removing backgrounds from photos and photo retouching, making youtube thumbnail, marketing services, website designing, etc.

Your profile must be verified with a government ID and an address document to get started. You must also upgrade your account to level 1 or higher to be able to list your gigs.

Rapidworkers

Rapidworker is a micro job site, the major problem with micro job sites is the pay is terribly low. You will earn just a few cents per task and you will have to do a lot of tasks just to earn $1 and it will take you many days even to make that one dollar. Compared to other similar platforms rapidworker is little better in a sense that you can get high paying micro job tasks if you are based in high tier countries. One major disadvantage I see with rapidworkers is related to task approval. When you submit the task and when your task is rejected by the client, you cannot appeal why your task was rejected, the client does not even give you a reason why your task is rejected. Anbother major issue is payment, you can receive payment only via paypal and if paypal is not available to you, you cannot use the site.

I don't work on this site but in my early days of working online, I tried this site. It is a legit site but some of the employers on the site are scammers. They might rate you "not satisfied" even when you have done your work correctly. Sadly, there is no way to file a dispute even when you have been rated wrongly. However, this does not mean the site is not good. If you do not have any income source and if you do not have elaborate skills, rapidworkers is a good site to start. Not just rapid workers, you can try similar sites like microworkers or picoworkers. In fact, there are a lot of similar sites where you can work on small jobs and make money. These sites are basically micro job sites where you earn a few cents by working on a task that takes 2-3 minutes.

Are Microjob Sites Really Good For Beginners

If you are just starting out and if you do not have a lot of skills, or no skills at all, micro job sites offer chances to make money for the people like you. Without any kind of tests, without waiting for someone to accept your bid, without someone buying your gig, you earn cash right away. But that doesn't mean they are the best way to make money. If you're thinking about using micro job sites, here are some good and bad points to consider. You can make decent money if you join a bunch of micro job sites and work regularly. Sometimes your work might get rejected, and you won't get paid for it. I am not a fan of micro job sites for making money because you will have to work hard for small money and you need to spend a long time to earn a little amount. However, if you want to try microjob site to make money, I recommend picoworkers. This is a micro job site where you can work on simple tasks like visiting a website, follow youtibe channel, follow facebook page, and earn 3-4 cents. You can earn 20-30 cents for downloading, installing and reviewing app, etc. Recently, picoworkers has shifted to freelancing platform where you can sell your different kinds of services like writing, designing, etc.

Do You Still Find Micro Jobs Lucrative

You can earn cash quickly with micro-tasks! Sites like mTurk, Microworkers and Sproutgigs offer small jobs like data entry, sign ups, downloads, website visits where you can earn few cents. Since you do not have to spend long hours, earning cents also helps. If you have some spare moments, you can try micojobs. Surveys and forum posting also come as an avenue to earn small money in your spare time. Remember, small efforts can lead to a steady stream of income. I don’t recommend these jobs as your main source of income but I recommend you try them as you wait for clients on freelancer platforms

Why should you try micro job sites, paid-to-post sites, or surveys even when you are a novice? You can, of course, make money through these methods but you will be spending a lot of time earning very little amount. If online working is very new, why not start building skills first instead of wasting time on micro job sites and paid-to-post sites? I don't mean to say that these are completely time wasters. What I mean is why should you give these methods first preferance? You should try freelancing site and start creating your service listing or start bidding on existing jobs. As you wait for someone to hire you, you can do other things in your spare time. Alternatively, you can also start working on these sites and the save money so that you can use it to build your online business on ecommerce marketplaces, or even use the money to create a blog.

Micro Job Sites Vs. Paid to Post Sites

Paid-to-post sites can be useful only when you do not have other work. If you have language and writing skills, and if you are free, and use your free time to make some cash, paid-to-post sites can be very useful. However, one of the major drawbacks of these earning platforms is you are underpaid. Some platforms require you to write a lot of words for a small price. Even when the site requires you to write very short posts, earning is difficult because it might take hours of everyday work to reach $5-$10 in a month. Freelancing is the best solution to paid-to-post sites, however, you need a high level of skill to make money with freelancing. If that is not the case, you can try micro job platforms or get paid to platforms. The micro job also pays little but you can earn higher than forum posting. You may not be able to make a lot of money from get paid to sites, but if you are using multiple platforms, your earning will be better.
