How to Survive the Competition on Social Media

Whether you want to generate traffic, revenue, or sales, you need social media. However, social media is a competitive platform. It is really hard to generate traffic, revenue, and sales through social media activities even when you run an ad campaign. Here are a few tips to survive the competition on social media

Identify your competitor on social media platforms

Check their pages and account

Analyze their activities (number of followers, likes, posts, frequency of posting, engagements on their posts, etc.)

Find out what kind of hashtags they are using,

Check the overall performance of your competitors

Analyze your competitors’ social media strategy

Based on the data gathered from your competitor, build your social media strategy.

Check your audience, by country, audience, age, interest, etc.

Find out what time of the day most of your audience is active on social media

Check what kind of content they like most.

Find out how they interact with the content (like vs. Comment vs. share)

How to Plan Your Social Media Posting

The primary purposes of social media posting for business are:

Build the brand

Generate sales

Built revenue

Generate traffic

Connect with the customers

Communicate with the customers, etc.

In order to build a brand, generate sales, communicate with customers, etc. you will have to build a strategy for your social media posting, which includes planning your post, scheduling your post, following up with the analytics, etc.

You need to regularly post on social media. Depending on the number of followers you have you will have to either post every day or several times a day. If you have 1000 followers, once a day or every two days can be considered a good posting strategy, however, if you have 10K or even 100K followers, you might have to post several times a day to catch up with your followers. When you are posting several times a day, using the post schedule feature can help you plan your post. Also, consider using a calendar to plan your posts.

How to Maximize Your Social Media Campaigns

For a lot of businesses and individuals, social media platforms are the first choice for digital marketing in order to drive sales and traffic because it is not only low cost but also a platform with the highest customer concentration (compare the number of social media users with Google users).

However, just because you are promoting on social media does not mean you are generating tons of sales. Here are a few things you need to implement in your social media campaigns.

Analyze your high-performing posts and low-performing posts, and find out what are common factors. Draw some conclusions and in your next post, try to avoid the factors involved in low-performing posts and use the strategies used in high-performing posts.

If someone has mentioned you, check what they are talking about. If someone shared your content try to find out who is sharing your content. Check engagements on your shared posts.

Create an organized schedule, and plan your post a few weeks ahead.

How to Launch an Ad Campaign on Social Media

Before you launch your ad campaign on Facebook or any other social media platform, including Google, you need to remember a couple of things.
Find your audience: You cannot attract 15-year-old kids and 50-year-old men with the same ad even when the product might be used by kids as well as old men. If you are targeting kids, your ad should be appealing to the kids, if you are targeting adults your ads should look appropriate to the adults. How you design ads have a lot of things to say about the success of your ad campaign. Let's say you are selling a product for a 10-year-old kid. However, a 10 years old kid is not allowed to register on Facebook. How do you attract your customers to buy your product? You will have to target your ad to capture the attention of people who have kids. If your product is for 10 years old kids, you need to attract parents of 10 years old, if your product is for 3 years old toddlers, you will have to target your ad to the parents who have 3 yers, old toddlers. You can generate sales only when your ad reaches the right age group.

When you are looking and checking their accounts and hashtags hope you should not be copied but should I say learn from what they do, am not much of a social media person, I just think if I should get into it I will be proud and greedy about basically everything and most of this people on social media are also having those traits even though they don't show it sometimes
