Humans have a desire to live a long life that’s why they invented medicines and therapeutic systems. However, can humans actually live a long life with medical help?

Well, human beings are mortals, so death is certain. What about living a healthy life, can you remain healthy all your life?

How to live a healthy and long life?

I am a young, perfectly healthy individual without any medical history. I do not have any physical or mental diseases. I do not have stress or anxiety issues, I do not have any metabolic disorder, I do not even have a weight problem.

Will I be in the same condition after 25 years? I mean will I be perfectly healthy with no health complications when I am in my 50s?

If you believe what doctors say, a lot of individuals will begin to experience health complications once they are 40 years and older. My father showed high cholesterol when he was 42 years. By the time he was 50, he was also experiencing high blood pressure. By the time my uncle was 45, he was already diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

Almost all people I know who are above 50 years of age are having some kind of disease.

Is it possible to remain healthy all your life?

Want to live a healthy life, stop smoking and drinking?

Smoking and drinking are the two main killers in the world.

Most smokers start smoking at an early age and smoking is one of the primary causes of death worldwide. Sadly, a lot of people know the health risk of smoking yet cannot give up smoking. The desire to smoke is just a psychological effect. The mind can be conditioned not to smoke.

Alcohol is also one of the major causes of death worldwide. More people die from complications related to alcohol compared to hard drugs like cocaine and heroin. Sadly, legal age drinking is allowed in all countries, and alcohol consumption is glorified on media, mostly in movies. Teens take a cue from their favorite actors.

A lot of people smoke because they think smoking 2-3 cigarettes wouldn't harm them. However, this is not true. Even one cigarette can have an adverse effect on health. A lot of people know the adverse effect of smoking, yet they cannot give up smoking because they are mentally weak t give up the addiction.

Whether anyone has realized or not a lot of movies, glorify smoking and drinking. Not the bad guys, but even the good guys drink and smoke heavily. They are trying to glorify manhood with smoking and drinking. This is a very dangerous phenomenon as young minds can be easily tricked into thinking that this is the way they should act.

Want to live a long life, avoid diabetes and heart diseases

Diabetes and heart diseases are two major diseases that cause a lot of deaths.

If your family has a history of diabetes, no matter what you do you cannot avoid diabetes. I am saying this based on the medical fact and my observation as well. I know a relative who used to walk 2-3 kilometers to his workplace, 5 days a week for 20 years, got diabetes. When he had diabetes, he also had heart issues. He was never overweight and he never ate unhealthy food. However, I don't mean to say maintaining body weight, eating healthy, and exercising daily do not help in avoiding diabetes. The main thing to consider is lifestyle modification.

Cholesterol is one of the major reasons for heart disease. In order to maintain your heart health, you need to maintain cholesterol levels. There are a lot of reasons for cholesterol rising, for instance remaining empty stomach for a long time, eating a lot of saturated fats, diabetes, high blood pressure, sedentary life, etc. When your cholesterol rises, you have a high chance of getting heart disease. You can control cholesterol by taking garlic.

Eat Right to Remain Healthy

The best way to remain fit and healthy is by eating good foods. If you eth a healthy meal, you will not become sick. You need to eat a lot of vegetables. Research shows that if half of your food plat consists of vegetables, one-quarter of carbs, and one-quarter protein, you are eating healthy.

Yes. People who are addicted to smoking or drinking can hardly stop it. Thus, it would require a motivation and support from the people around you, as well as the willingness to be freed from such addiction. Anyways, I'm amazed at that age of yours po you still have no any medical history. I also have no any but I can say these past months, I have an anxiety that I wasn't able to escape still haha.
