Three Ways to Make Your Blog Stand Out

In order to become a successful blogger, your blog needs to be better than the blogs on your niche. How can your blog become better and stand out from the competitors?

Have a brainstorming session: You might be a good writer, a good digital marketer, and also good with SEO. But you can’t always be the best, right? That’s why brainstorming is very essential. When you brain storm, you will not only get new ideas and insights but also build new strategies.

Guest content: Your blog also need guest content. Guest content adds different voice to your bog and it might even leave spicy tang for your audience. Guest posting also builds new traffic because guest author’s followers might come to your blog to read the content.

Content Audit: Content audit means analyzing your blog for your SEO implementation. This will help you understand what kind of content is getting more engagement and what kind of content needs to be published more.

Your blogging endeavours will become successful only when you are offering value. Offering value through a blog means you are offering useful and interesting content to your blog readers. You can not only publish high quality articles on your blogs to attract traffic, you can also offer something like ebooks and digital courses. You can publish these items on your blogs. People interested in learning or knowing something will have visitors on your blog. You can also have engagement if your blog has useful and interesting content as ebooks and digital courses. However, make sure you create and sell ebooks and digital courses that are actually products related to your blog's niche.

Generating Revenue

Before you choose a niche, you need to understand the rank of your website on the search engine ranking page. Let's say you use a keyword that only gets 100 searches in a month. This implies that the keyword you are targetting is searched by only 100 people, and if you managed to rank on the number one result, you will get 100 (maximum) visits from search queries. How let's add three more zeros on that number. If you use keywords that get 100,000 searches in a month and you managed to rank number you are likely to get 100,000 visits in the month. Micro niches are the niches that are very narrow and not many people will be searching on search engines. When there are not many searches, you are not getting a lot of traffic. There is no point of being 1 of 1, you need to try to become 1 of 100,000.

Choose a high CPC topic. When you decide to choose a niche, make sure the topic gets high CPC rates. Do you want ads on your site that get you 10 cents per click or ads that give you $1 per click? You obviously want higher-paying ads. That's why you need to focus on a niche that gets a high CPC rate.  Avoid choosing a niche that gets you a low CPC rate.

If you want earn with adsense, you will have to use keywords that have high CPC rate. These keywords can earn you more money per click (CPC). If you are not familiar with high CPC keywords, here are some keywords with high CPC rate in the US.

Insurance has Average CPC rate of $17.55, whereas Online Education has $12.08, and Marketing and Advertising has $6.45.Keywords related to law can get you up to $6.11 per click, where as Internet and Telecom has CPC rate of $4.96, Online Banking $4.86, Home and Garden $2.28, Automobile Dealership $2.18, Beauty and Skincare $1.86, and Cryptocurrency has CPC rate of $1.85.

If you want to improve ad engagement on your blog, the first thing you need to do is go to Google Keyword Tool. The tool is basically designed for advertisers so that they can choose keywords for their Google ads, the keyword tol will not only show you traffic data, related keywords, keyphrase but also how much money advertisers are paying for the ads targeting different keywords. The data you see on google keyword tool will let you know what keywords you should be using based on the search volume and CPC rate for the keywords. You will have to choose keywords that not only pulls a lot of traffic but also receives a lot of money from the advertisers. If you use these keywords you will be earning more money per clicks (I am talking about adsense ads). Your content also needs to be keyword rich, keyword rich means you need to use 5 percent primary and secondary keywords.

Running Ads: Things to Remember

Just because your website shows ads does not mean your visitors will run away. If your visitors are running away, and if you think that's because of the ads on your site, there might be a couple of reasons.

You are using pop-up or pop-under ads: These ads are very intrusive, they open multiple pages when the visitors click anywhere on the site. If you have these ads, your visitors will run away. In most cases, these ads can install virus on visitors' computers. Never used these ds.

Low-quality ads: if you are advertising scam projects or dubious items, your visitors will run away.

Too many ads: If your website contains too many ads, your visitors will run away. I think 2-3 ads per page is appropriate.

Autoplay video ads: These ads will also chase away your visitors

Flash image ads: These ads are also considered intrusive ads, and thus are a great turn off for the visitors.

Blogging For Money: How Possible is This

Generally speaking, when blogging started it was not for making money. Blogging has a long history and it has drastically changed over the time. People started monetizing their blogs only when online advertising started becoming popular. Blogs were originally created to share random thoughts and attract readers and build reader base for your writing. Even though blogging is still done to attract readers, if you get a lot of visitors, it can become a source of income. You do not have to work many hours on a blog. If you get 1-2 k daily visitors on your blog you can easily make $50-$100 in a month. All you need to do is publish 1-2 articles in a month and build traffic.

You also need traffic that converts. In other words your traffic should also interact with your ads. Likewise, your traffic should be coming form top tier countries, especially the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. CPC and CPM rates in these countries are higher than in other countries, the rates are very low in Africa and Asia. You also need to target high CPC keywords, or lets' say the niche where advertisers offer high advertising rate.

In order to earn from adsense, amazon, sponsorship etc. you need a huge traffic. However, building traffic on your blog takes a lot of time even when you do SEO and digital marketing. Interestingly, there is a simple strategy to make money from your blog.

How to Create the Best Content For Your Blog

Do you know what is the best way to create the best content for your blog? Well, writing on familiar topics is the best way to create original and valuable content for your blog. If you attempt to write about things you know best, it will also be easier for you. You also need to enhancing the value of your content by adding new information in your content. Even when you are writing on something you know, you should always do research and try to incorporating well-researched information in your blog post. More importantly, you need to engage your audience with useful, interesting information that they genuinely enjoy reading.

Should You Write For Search Engine or For Human Readers

Your blog will become successful only when you have visitors. How do you attract visitors? If your blog is optimized for search engines you can get traffic but if your post does not meet reading standard of the visitor, he will leave and you might not make money. Therefore, the best approach is you need to create a balance between content that is liked by Google and content that is liked by human readers. For instance, if you have 30 articles, you can have 15 articles for search engines and 15 articles for human readers. When your posts rank high on search engines, traffic will come. If your article are also written for readers, your visitors will find interesting, and they will engage with ads and you make money.

How to Find Content Idea For Your Blog Posts

If you are a professional blogger, sometimes you might be in a situation when you do not have any idea to write about. What should you do in a situation like this? Well, you can use Google Trends (trends.google.com/trends/) to find ideas. This google tool will show you all the trending topics for google search. When you know what people are searching online, you can easily build content around these topics. Another method is to use AI tool like ChatGPT. You can simple ask ChatGPT about the topic you can write. YouTube Trending Topics is another option you can use for finding ideas.

How to Choose a Niche For Your Blog?

Don't choose a broad niche, it is very difficult to rank in the broad niche. For example,  don't choose a Pet niche, choose either a dog niche, cat niche, or any pet of your choice. When you choose a broad niche, there will be a lot of competition and you might not be able to get organic traffic. When you niche down, you have a high chance of getting ranked high on search engines and also organic traffic.  If you want to become successful with your blog, focus should be on choosing the right niche. It does not matter whether your blog sticks to one niche (one topic) or multiple niches (covers a lot of topics), what matters is the niche or subject you choose should be...

High traffic

High CPC

Less saturated

High traffic means your blog should be one of the most searched terms on the internet. High CPC means the topic should be something that advertisers pay a lot of money to advertise. Less saturated means the topic does not yet have a lot of content on the internet.
