Participation in the discussion means your kid starts asking questions, begins to answer your questions, etc. Therefore, you need to encourage your kid to engage in the learning process. Feedback is Important

Reward and punishment is great teaching tool. The reward does not have to be big things, even the words of appreciating will do. When I say punishment, I don’t mean corporal punishment, and I do not mean scolding. Even a slight reprimand will work.

Feedback is a great tool to inspire your kid, stimulate your child. If the child performs well, you can reward him with some positive feedback, if he does not perform better, you can encourage him to try again and do better next time. Immediate feedback will have a positive effect on your kid.

If your kid makes mistake, do not be harsh, instead help him correct his mistake. Do not hesitate to congratulate your kid for his good performance.

If your child is already going to school, consider enrolling him in an afterschool program. Afterschool programs offer creative learning methods. These programs are not just a way to entertain your child, but also a creative way to introduce lessons.
