Aaaand it's partly good news... We've moved back to Lockdown Level 3 The alcohol ban has been partly lifted Curfew has moved later to 10pm Inter-provincial travel is permitted again Weddings can take place again. But many of us feel like our government will try to keep us in some form of lockdown for as long as they can, even when the threat of the pandemic has passed. #SouthAfrica

I just read that on my newspaper, some relief indeed ahead even if everything is not ''clear''..
I guess we'll wait and see..!
I have a schedule for a first time vaccine Moderna. One Noiser from South Africa told me this vaccine is not recognised everywhere in the world... Do you know more about, should I cancel for Pfizer instead?
I've read conflicting articles, some saying Moderna isn't recognised in South Africa, others saying you can still travel to SA with this vaccine. Moderna was approved by the EU so you should be fine to travel across Europe at least. The Pfizer one is the one we're getting here. The AstraZeneca one I don't recommend, only because some EU countries don't recognise it, but it seems like Moderna is fine. I found a website where you can check if your vaccine is accepted in certain countries - will link it here...
I'm not sure how accurate this tool is but here's the link: https://visaguide.world/news/vaccine-checker-proof-of-immunity-for-travel
Oh thank you SO MUCH for your kind and efficient investigations 🤗 this is very helpful MightyTalon!
My pleasure, Elpbuidl :) I hope that whichever one you choose allows you to travel and live the way you want to in this weird world :)
