I'm seeing a lot of QQing today about the teeny tiny tips and I'm also seeing lots of posts about how we should be grateful for the teeny tiny tips. My opinion is a controversial one (and I'm ok with hearing differing opinions) - I don't think we need to be grateful or thankful. I think this system works because it's "give and receive". We give the developers what they need to make this site succeed, and they give us BCH in return. If tips have suddenly become so teeny, then why yesterday did I "earn" the most I ever have on this site? Yeah, the whole heart --> tips transition is confusing. My opinion is we should just go with the flow. There is NO ADVERTISING on this site, so it can't last forever. Enjoy it while it's here.
It seems like the system was turned upside down - I saw friends who usually don't get much, getting a lot more, and friends who usually get a lot, getting close to nothing. It's nice to see a change up though, for whatever reason :)
